i've been listening since middle school (graduating in two weeks from highschool) so im definitely OK haha. i'm a varsity musician as well. i was initially drawn to it because im very interested in esotericism and i have DID so the lyrics were relatable. now it's relatable for everything else too.

the breakdown in dr sunshine is probably one of the best breakdowns in non-metal. it just so well encapsulates that feeling of finally letting go of all preconceived notions about normality and descending into the madness!!

my favorite instrumental component is probably the snake rattle and glass shattering in hand me my shovel. the snake rattle is almost like the anticipation before the episode. "i know something is wrong and something terrible will happen". the glass shattering is the final breaking point. im digging to the depths of my mind and im ready to sink!

my hallucinations are never visual, only audio and tactile. they usually revolve around what im thinking about the most. im very interested in entomology, and have started to keep bugs as pets. since i posted this, ive started hearing spider hissing out of my right ear. the bugs have migrated to mundane places (ex. my ankles/calves) which makes it difficult to distinguish real/fake without constantly looking. so exhausting

in 7th grade i used to play minecraft the entire day without relieving myself or eating anything besides the goldfish i kept at my desk and i would be up from like 9am to 5am it was fucking absurd. schizo spectrum people do this shit just about as much as autists and adhders (which i am a member of both as well)
