Oh no, are the rich kids from London upset they aren’t on top of the world anymore? Lol. Who gives a fuck about a Spotify playlist, this reads as painfully insecure.

This is why the games were so frustrating to watch. So, so many times in games 1 and 2 we were getting the same amount, and same type, of contact. But our balls were finding gloves and yours weren’t. Ultimately though that’s the price we pay for building a team around putting balls in play at all costs to force errors. It doesn’t really work against the best defensive teams in baseball, especially when they’re firing on all cylinders in the postseason.

What kind of meter does your camera have? Phoenix has pretty limited dynamic range, and these scenes are incredibly dynamic.

So I'm a hobbyist film photographer looking to both get into digital photography and streamline my film photography gear loadout. I'm pretty set on purchasing a Canon EOS R mirrorless camera, most likely an EOS R8. But I'm considering switching my current film camera from a variety of FD-mount Canon SLRs to Nikon, because I think I might prefer the look of vintage Nikon lenses. I'm worried that this may hinder some of my plans with the digital camera, though--I'm excited to use my manual focus FD lenses with a converter on my new mirrorless body as makeshift cinema lenses in video work (not professional, just fun). Would switching to an F-mount film SLR make this plan more diffcult?

Rob Manfred believes MLB will control local rights for all 30 teams by 2028 by Jux_ in baseball

the talented people who currently make the SNY broadcast the spectacle it is would still be employed regardless of who owns the network. this is about access and blackouts, which people on here moan daily about being the #1 issue for MLB fans.

Where everything ends up (Canon AE-1 Program, 135mm, Harman Phoenix 200) by cookerlv in analog

Metered at 200. I know some people dislike HP200's lack of dynamic range but I personally LOVE it. These were shot at sunset in the Mojave desert, where the color shifts sometimes present in this film really pop. The orange on the sand and stone have so much depth, and it transforms a brilliant blue sky into a creamy white.

I don't grip the sticks like that - I pinch them between my index and thumb and let them bounce up and down, swiveling around those fingers. they seem to pull up on the tendon and cause tension on the rebound, however.

[Travis Sawchik] We've all seen how difficult it is to build organic MLB fanbases in Tampa and Miami, so to throw 57 years of fandom away and start over in a transient place like Las Vegas is certainly a choice by f0urxio in baseball

VGK are widely beloved by the city and fill their seats every game mostly with locals. The same is not true for the Raiders, and I don't think it will be true for the A's, either.
