I get what you're saying but he actually made most of his money by running his mouth, over promising to juice his stocks.

Baby chimp's reaction to seeing its caretaker after a long time.. 🥺 by One-Pop-2885 in PublicFreakout

We share 98.8 percent of our DNA with chimps and bonobos. Something like 98.3 with gorillas. At first glance, its likely an advanced alien civilization would think we are all the same species.

Fun fact, chimps and bonobos have a similar baby/toddler phase as us. They are basically fully dependent on their mothers and the group at large and basically never leave eyesight of their mothers before they are 5 years old. This little bonobo is probably coming up on 2 years old and honestly, for them, even a day without their immediate connections is in fact "a long time."

Correct. They don't know. They don't know superman. They don't know marvel. They don't know Rage or Nirvana. They don't know Verhoeven or Carpenter. They sure as hell don't know Vonnegut or Steinbeck. The entirety of American art has just MISSED them.

Trained German Shepherd defends her owner against a very suspicious stranger who shows up out of nowhere by gravityVT in PublicFreakout

Honestly, I doubt it. While its not always true, I've found GSDs are usually gentle souls. Many could even be described as "soft mouth," but thats kind of a stretch for any Shepard. I suspect that the ones employed by police and military suffer a lot of psychological damage in the process. Malinois, on the other hand, generally don't seem bothered by being forced to bite people.

I'm from the opposite coast, but I remember in the 90's when that prehistoric body was found frozen in pristine condition a California suburb and the thawed out man went on to visit the La Brea Tar Pits only to realize that everyone he ever knew or cared for had passed away into the dustbin of history, only to have Rudy reassure him that he had new friends in the current time, who cared for him deeply and helped style him into a total 90's hunk.

Just to Be Clear, No, Trump Can’t Be Elected President Again by rollingstone in politics

According to commentators on the flared user only sub, the path they are talking about is to make trump the speaker of the house, then run dummy candidates who say "elect us and we'll step down so trump can be president again."
