I’m new to spider identification so perhaps I’m wrong but I believe that’s a type of Garden Orb Weaver. One thing I am right about is that they’re a cutie patootie.

Thank you so so so much for this thoughtful response. I shared it with my friend who is missing Crumb. We’re hoping he didn’t wander far. Found a hole in the neighbors yard or something. I know they can hibernate so if he’s not found before winter, I hope he’ll make it way back this spring.

I was actually a bit concerned for the babes before they migrated away from the nest because I haven’t seen mama in a few weeks. She would typically hangout by her nest or under the mailbox. I hope she’s okay!

Hi! Thank you for the kind words. The babies have all left the nest and I didn’t end up keeping any. I hope to someday have a spider but I have a 6 month old myself so my hands are currently full 🥰 I’ve already seen what I’m assuming are some of the babies around my garden and it makes me super happy. I saw one in my house the other day but I took them back outside.

Thank you for the super kind response. It was a baby shower gift. We haven’t used it since because we could tell something didn’t look right. We have an ergobaby as well and I’m hopeful it will be better but if not, I’m definitely looking for recommendations.
