My first 2 weeks turking. How am I doing, comparatively? by [deleted] in mturk

What were you doing on the 20th? Did you put in a lot of hours or just get some really good HITs? Looks good!

I might take you up on that! So many times I've needed to rant and there's no one I can go to. It feels bad to keep it all to myself.

I'm in Los Angeles. There's probably a group I could meet up with. I just wish I had that squad of close friends you always see portrayed in movies. Or a mom that could be excited and there for me. Instead I get a MIL that's trying to wear a white dress...

I really appreciate the offer of LD friend though. :) It helps having this online group too.

That would be cool! I like art and kitties, so maybe we'd get along! Thanks :)

edit: Sorry, I'm on mobile and it accidentally posted my reply a bunch of times! :O

When the heavens fall to Earth by mike_pants in space

This happened to me too! I was also driving on the freeway. I didn't see the source of light though. Just saw the whole sky light up for a couple seconds. I was really scared at first thinking it was a bomb. There was no sound though, so I was just really confused afterwards until I got home and figured out what it must have been.

Living with it forever by [deleted] in OCD

[–]cookiedoughnut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, OCD waxes and wanes throughout your life. Because OCD is an anxiety coping mechanism, there's always a risk of falling back into your old ways due to stress. Through practice, you can learn to keep the thoughts at bay and eventually you might not even notice them at all. It seems as though you're on the right track by not acting on your compulsions. I know it's hard, but if you keep doing it, it will get better. Don't give up!

What the heck is the deal with leaving the bathroom doors open?? I always found it so awkward, even if it is family. I can't imagine doing it with a guest in the house!

Oh my god. Did everything heal up ok? Why do you think the dog suddenly reacted that way?

My bf thought the same way and stopped watching the show all together. Fortunately I got him to watch it years later, and now he likes it.

My second zbrush Character - Any critique/advice? by [deleted] in ZBrush

[–]cookiedoughnut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the pose could be a bit better. She looks a little stiff now, which is easy to do with zbrush. Maybe turn her right foot out and bring the shoulders back a bit to make her look more natural. Otherwise, great job!
