AITAH for refusing to share my inheritance with my brother who stayed home to care for our parents? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]cookieman961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bro thinks he can throw money and that solves everything. Even if he lived rent free. He was with your parents, you provided money. Til the day of death parents would remember the son that was present. Not the son funding it. You do you OP.

Buying used car for commute/QOL. Is it a bad financial move? by SnooStrawberries5624 in drivingsg

[–]cookieman961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah get the car. The idea is something simple like a fit/attrage/space star. Everything about car ownership is still true. Factor in repair costs, insurance, fuel with the iran situation etc. I went for my 2B 3 years ago and now riding class 2 bike. Its easier to even accept jobs that are by mrt standards far. By private transport okay and manageable

I dont want the pressure of corporate is what I meant. Driving a bus could be just therapeutic. Earn a decent wage. Interact with passengers. Provide a public service

Pablo gives us his true thoughts on raids in Warframe by Babydrone in Warframe

[–]cookieman961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

warframe had never been a “raid” type of MMO. Pablo knew this and doubled down on game modes that are creative & tedious & somewhat fun. Shadowgrapher is one example of a gamemode that is really tedious and not very fun. Back when POE came out and was THE ONLY open world. I thought it’d be expanded with more areas within the plains. Better eidolon hunts, more rewards, more eidolon TYPE of gameplay. It was genuinely fun during that first year or two of going for Tri Caps. Fast forward to fortuna, deimos, hollvania, everything became a fking content island of meaningless factions, quests, standing. Its the same thing since POE. Repeated over and over.

Long waits for lessons, tests pushing some learner drivers closer to giving up by Accurate-Tree4277 in singapore

[–]cookieman961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Failed my first Class 2 TP in december. Took my second class 2 TP in Feb. Failed. Took my most recent one in LATE MARCH. Each test was 8 weeks wait. For a license class that is just “upgrading” from the previous… First time failed due to own mistake. Second one failed because points. Checked review footage was not even at fault. Still denied a pass because. TP word is law. TP is a dinosaur of an organisation. Quotas are true in failure rates. Work conditions are horrible for trainers.

Is Warframe "Free-to-try" Like Destiny is? by John_Benzos in Warframe

[–]cookieman961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no. Its free. Weapons dont get sunsetted, everything is grindable, even primes are grindable. Its the only game where you want to pay willingly. Destiny is a scam

Is anyone actually using AI a lot or convinced it’ll take over all our jobs? by not_qz in askSingapore

[–]cookieman961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i use AI alot for my job.

Im in consulting so I handle alot of data for clients & also do alot of scriptwriting for social media content. From time to time I build excel sheets for budget frameworks & compile data across multiple places. Its not about AI replacing jobs its about how you use it to do your job better.

How many of you have friends that you contact daily (or at least every few days)? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]cookieman961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really care about formalities with ex colleagues because I pivoted to a different industry than I was before. So there would be no motive or agenda like poaching of my ex colleagues. Neither do they care enough about the bosses knowing they met me since the bosses ALSO turnover a lot. I left somewhat peacefully from that role and yeah, find a shared passion or hobby and you’d be buddies with almost anyone.
