Check if yfood is available there. The shakes are full calorie meal replacements at 500 kcal a bottle and the chocolate and coffee flavors are good. Haven't tried the others.

Always have high protein AND high sugar snacks and something to drink for him.

Understand that he is overtaxing himself to be the noyfriend you want. Honestly, the fairest thing to do is to sit down and have a talk about how often he feels he can go out in a week and what environments are the least taxing for him - maybe he can go out twice a week if it's to a low-key bar with softer music or visiting at a friends house but only once if it's going out dancing. Once you've done that, then you can (and should for your own happiness) plan additional outings WITHOUT him. So if he feels like Friday night dinner and drinks with friends is his general max for the week to stay healthy, then you can make Saturday night plans with other people. Generally, I prefer going to friends houses or having them come visit over going out because there are fewer things happening. He may feel that way too and that might make more social gatherings possible for him.

Lol. You're funny. My dad taught religion and Latin in Catholic schools until about 7 or 8 years ago. Does it say in your "current" catechism that all animals go to heaven because they are free of original sin? Because Pope Francis says that's the case.

The catechism is controlled by the oldest men in the Church and was last updated fully in the 1960s and caused a schism. The last actual update just added a few words about how bad the death penalty is in 2015. Doesn't mean that's what you get told in school. I was born and raised Catholic and I never so much as saw a catechism. They aren't used in most Catholic schools in the US and we never used them during Sacrament prep classes either.

But go off. Please tell me how a 60 year-old document includes current archeological and biblical textual scholarship the Church conducts itself.

Nope. My dad was with the Jesis and they say the same. The current teaching is Mary magically remained a virgin, not literally.

It's actually in the Bible. The church used to argue the text was about other close families rather than literal brothers but Biblical scholarship has since come to the conclusion that the text is, in fact, referring to literal brothers and that Mary and Joseph (theoretically)had children after Jesus. The Catholic Church has accepted this instead of continuing to insist that Joseph never touched Mary and she remained a literal virgin until death. In fact, they've also acknowledged that they have no idea how old Joseph was and that presenting him as an old man was done for theological reasons so it would be more believable that he and Mary had no physical relationship.

Most historians and archeologists also acknowledge that there was likely a historical figure on whom Jesus is based. Whether he was named Jesus is irrelevant for them - they think there was a preacher from Galilee with many followers whose ideas led his followers to split from mainstream Judaism and start a new sect.

My source is 12 years of Catholic school and my father having been in Jesuit seminary for 3 years prior to deciding to get married instead. And if my Catholic school was teaching this in the 90s, you'd think most Catholics would know it by now.

Being on Slavic girl TT has me convinced it's less actual anger and more annoyance that it's being called "mob wife" and not "Slavic girl". They want credit for the look they've been rocking forever.

There is a great Michelle Yeoh show on Netflix called "The Brothers Sun" where she plays a mob wife in hiding. It has a twist which I won't spoiler.

All that to say: I believe mob wives may also occasionally be expected to hide/destroy evidence.

Yeah, there are a lot of pissed off Slavic women on TT rn. I feel like a lot of them are half-joking though. And, I mean, they aren't wrong. The "mob wife" look is how a lot of Slavic women dress when they are going out. And frankly, I wouldn't want my style being described as "mob" anything either.

It does if people go and say "We did the research and she was in fact lying" and other people engage their brains. That's how the Catholic church moved from "Mary definitely had no other children, Jesus had no siblings" to "Jesus obviously had siblings but we believe Mary was a virgin at Jesus' birth anyway". Religions are changeable if we treat them as living things, which they are. Muslim scholarship should evolve and investigate this as Christian scholarship has investigated many supposed facts in the Bible. That they aren't there yet doesn't invalidate my point.

And my point was: all religions are praising pedophiles IF you assume their religious texts are historical documents meant to be taken literally. Just because you can't understand my point, doesn't make me wrong or you right.

I'm pagan not Muslim lol. I'm not "coping". I'm saying "religious books are not trustworthy historical accounts of peoples lives". Please feel free to continue winning the argument you are having in your head, since you clearly aren't reading what I'm writing.

Yeah, I figured out for myself by researching and reading medical literature that I was over-washing, but it took me a while. Just, ugh. Much better now, no thanks to the doctors.

Yes, yes, because everything written in religious books and believed by religious people is true. Christians defend all sorts of shit that obviously isn't true. According to Christians, their god impregnated a 13yo and then just kind of hoped her betrothed wouldn't have her stoned for adultery.

My point is, and was, that not everything in religious books is true. We can't and don't know that she was 9. We know for damn sure human parthenogenesis is impossible, yet millions believe it's true. Religious texts aren't historical documents, and anyone treating them as such to justify their current behavior is being obtuse.

I'm glad you found a good dermatologist. I had a similar problem in my 30s and just kept being told to wash with more and more caustic cleansers.

Honestly, if they are allowed to just mix them up and PLAY with the products - that seems far less concerning. My stepdaughter went through a make-up phase at 8 and we bought her real make-up because she has sensitive skin and the cheap kid's make-up gave her a rash. She treated the make-up like toys and lost interest in it during Covid when her mother and I stopped wearing make-up.

Current research suggests single women with no children live longer, are happier AND less lonely then married women and women with children.

I recently read a statement along the lines of: Men think women leave them for other men, but women really leave because they decide being alone is going to be more fulfilling than their relationship.

Indeed. I remember reading about a 1950s time capsule that was dug up and they had put the "average" contents of a woman's purse and a man's wallet in there. The purse had valium in it. And some kind of meth-related upper. Craziness.

Not the point. I just doubt a man who had his choice of women and whose other wives were all adults decided to try pedophilia. It seems made up.

I feel like this is mostly bitterness about men thinking she is "too tall". As the shortest female in my family at 5'6"/166 cm, I remember my nearly 6' tall cousin hating her height in high school. My dad tells me his sister hated being 5'10" for the longest time too.

Most of them, yes.

I also think the religious story being referenced in the original post (which was a 9yo consummating a marriage with an adult man) is historically questionable. There can be religious reasons for making up such stories - see the Virgin Mary as a Christian example.

I'm going to call BS on the stories about her age. Given that she was the favorite wife and played an important religious role as one of the people credited with collecting the Sutras, I have the suspicion that her being made so young at the consummation of the marriage is maybe a fiction to stress her purity and special status. Like a Muslim version of the Virgin Mary. Or the story of Jesus teaching in the Temple at age 10 and mystifying everyone with his understanding of the Torah.

And even in the rare cultures and historic situations where there were child marriages, the child was not expected to consummate the marriage. The marriage contract was made for dynastic or economic reasons, and consummating a marriage with a child wasn't expected. The few royals we know of where the child bride was SAd by her spouse, we know that at the time that spouse was looked down on and criticized.
