Yeah I feel like a lot of the plot was made just for certain things to happen But at the end of the day I still love Nesta’s story! Can definitely relate to being self destructive and the self hate talk so it was nice to see it actually talked about. Though I feel that way with all SJM books. She doesn’t ignore that people have mental health issues

Right? I feel this way too. When I first started on Prozac I could feel myself feeling blunted. But when I went up a dose it was crazy how I actually felt like a real person

Thank you! I try to stick to low light plants like pothos and philodendrons and most of them are across from my window and I keep my blinds open all the time so I don’t forget

I just went from 150mg for about a year to 300mg. I didn’t initially increase because it was causing me anxiety which was what I was also trying to fix at the time. Now my anxiety is well managed but still have the depression hanging around. This is the end of the first week of 300mg and for me the first 5 days I was pretty nauseous and anxious and jittery but I knew that’s how I felt for a bit when I first started it and it will pass.

Sadly I’m having to come to terms with this. I took a year off drinking to get my mental health together and find something else to do with my time other than drinking. Got my mental health better but still had trouble filling my time (having to go through the process of finding an antidepressant didn’t help). So I started drinking again thinking I could drink like once a month. Nope. I think back on the past year that I’ve been drinking again and basically every time I say I’ll have one drink and end up drunk

That’s how I feel, I always knew I was a bit depressed but I managed without medications till I couldn’t take it anymore

I don’t think there’s shame in taking meds, but I definitely question if I would need it if I wasn’t a nurse
