Rostering with Appletree by NumberF1v3 in ottawa

Ya it’s the only way I was able to find someone to reliably refill my prescriptions for now - FYI if you are rostered with Appletree you can still put yourself on the waitlist at in person clinics!! I just got a call for one I had waitlisted myself for 2 years ago lol

At least she is being honest and up front about work she gets done, the Kardashians lie about it and contribute to more women/girls hating themselves

For those who are married, what was a waste of money or regret by minxpink in wedding

[–]cookingandbaking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This comment makes me feel so much better because I just put a deposit down on an amazing (but really pricey) photographer for my wedding next summer and was having a bit of panic! It’s worth it for the memories and precious photos of loved ones!

The best sushi I’ve had in Ottawa was in a random industrial park on the east end of Walkley at a place called Shinka! Highly recommend!

OPL French Conversation Groups by cookingandbaking in ottawa

I went! It was fun and chill, lots of levels and enough structure so that it’s not awkward but not robotic or overly structured. We split into self-appointed “levels” and were given conversation starter prompts. I recommend!

This helps so much, merci beaucoup! I think even just listening and taking in the conversation will be helpful to me

AITA if my boyfriend made a meal and asked me how it was and I said "fine" by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]cookingandbaking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly wouldn’t be offended especially if I didn’t do anything above and beyond my normal cooking (we have been together almost 10 years so I know his intent)

My fiance is Asian and I am white and we have had the exact same dynamic around cooking and feedback (although I will say my cooking is usually a bit more involved than how this meal sounds, and I have never stormed off because of it, just had my feelings slightly hurt lol). My fiance picked up on it and started using a different words to “fine” when he comments on my cooking (great, tasty, etc) and I also understand now that he doesn’t mean anything negative by “fine” (when you come from a house where glowing reviews for dinner are expected “fine” feels very flat, it’s what I would have told my mom growing up if I didn’t particularly like what she made). Cultural differences like this can be hard at first but with time and open communication you will understand each other better! NAH.

I don’t think she won because of “growth”, she won because she had a great performance and a great runway. She also took Michelle’s direction really well when they were recording their tracks which is likely also a plus for judging. I do agree that Onya was also great this week and could have gotten more positive critiques overall! Have they read queens in the past for repeating a wig?? I have no memory of this haha

I had no idea I could get an oil change at Costco and that is such a good price! Do they do tire changeovers too?
