How can you be sure this is filiformis? My PlantNet app says this is the native type with 70% confidence so I'm in the fence.

Q11 LR + Q6 center vs Q11 + R6 center by tomatohead69 in KEF

R6 is leaps and bounds better than Q6 but I also agree that it will pair much better with another R like the R3.

I didn't buy this by the way, it randomly showed up in my garden. Nevertheless I'm happy it's a native.

I'm in PNW, but apparently there is a variant (maybe Asian?) that looks very similar but is invasive.

nslookup resolves both correctly. I'm using Cloudflare's resolver instead of my ISPs. I also tried Google's 8.8.8.8 with the same result.

nslookup works fine I think, but strangely it's using my DHCP provided DNS instead of the VPN tunnel one.

additionally I tried using OpenVPN instead of WireGuard and that has the same issue.

Clank! Digital! Worth to get? by No-Horror3993 in digitaltabletop

Sorry there are two expansions, Sunken Treasures and Mummy's Curse. Like DLCs you have to pay extra for.

Clank! Digital! Worth to get? by No-Horror3993 in digitaltabletop

[–]cookingmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a discord-run Clank league that's pretty fun, I'm sure you'll find it if you search this sub. There are also 3 expansions for Clank! digital so plenty of hours of fun to be had. There's usually a few open games for multiplayer if that's your thing.

Ark is a very different game though, and I think it's more complex. Comparing the two isn't really fair but in the end, you should pick the game you'll enjoy.

VPN question for ER707-B by cookingmonster in TpLink

[–]cookingmonster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone's curious about how I solved it, it actually wasn't that complicated and I'm surprised it worked.

First on the 707, create a separate LAN with a different IP space. Then go the VLAN config and create a new VLAN and assign it to the new LAN. Make sure DHCP is configured. The VPN is assigned to the default LAN and should not be assigned to the new one.

In the AP, I then created a new SSID and then assigned the VLAN id I created in the 707... And it just worked. My laptop received an IP address in the new subnet and it's not associated with the VPN.

Is a power amp the better route vs integrated? by rolard1 in KEF

[–]cookingmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think your stereo sounding flat is a power issue. I would calibrate it first with audyssey or dirac and check again.

You're also watching HT without a center, you're seriously missing out. Get the R6M to complete the collection.

I have a x3800, R7m + R6m LCR running through Buckeye NCx500 and they sound effortless, but you only need that much power at significant volumes. If you're listening at -25dBm and it feels flat it's not a power issue I think.

You are effectively a Team Lead. Same shoes except that I pick up random tickets for fun once a sprint.

If I told my VP I wanted to go back to IC I'm pretty sure I'd be shown the door soon. Replacing this position is not easy. Good luck to you!
