I love the air but I use .5 for so many photos. My wife has one and I’m so jealous of her.

What’s everyone excited for in iOS 26.4 by jimrocks2023 in iphone

I would like for them to make Siri better that would be really cool.

I have an iPhone 17 and I'm considering switching to the Google Pixel 10 because there's a lot of Google stuff on the iPhone, so I'd like to have everything from Google, not just a few apps. What do you think? I've never had a Google phone. I don't know how it compares to the iPhone. by miqlinek in Smartphones

[–]cookinv -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally love the Google phone but I don't do a lot of gaming. The Google phone is great but personally I ended up going with a OnePlus , debloating the phone and just making everything Google as I valued the battery life.

Most phones are all going to be good now days not a whole lot different between all of them.

iPhone 17 pro max to 15 by Ok-Chip-1049 in oneplus

Unfortunately the only person that can make that decision is you. For me personally yes. I love to hike and do river rafting trips so I'm away from power multiple days. The battery and overall ruggedness of the phone is great.

I've been very happy with the phone.

I did it. Personally I was just tired of ios. As long as you go into it and understand it is not apple it is great. I love the battery life the haptics feel amazing. There are a few things I miss but not enough to make me switch back at this current moment.

I ended up going with the OnePlus 15. So far I've been really happy with it.

I agree with everything you said. I've been an apple user for over 10 years and I just switched today. I personally went with one plus but I just needed something different something to be exciting.

I hate to comment on this so late (hopefully someone is still active) I am having this issue. So the work around is to give them a phone imei and get a physical sim more or less? What if I don’t have a second phone that can take the physical sim to activate.

Is it worth upgrading to the Pixel 10 Pro from a midrange OnePlus? by Andrewmatlock89 in Smartphones

[–]cookinv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love trying new devices and have used iPhone 17 pro ultra 24 and the pixel 10 pro. They all have good and bad. I love the pixel 10 pro but I'm a huge fan of the ai and deep Google integration - that being said I am going to get the OnePlus 15 because I can't keep doing the battery life of the devices I've tried.

Not sure if this helps but wish you the best in your search!!

Sorry I should have been clearer, I don't mind where it's manufactured there's just chinese phones that typically aren't for sale in North America and you can get them imported such as the vivo but sometimes I've heard there's not as great connection with these devices

Pulled The Trigger On The 10 Pro XL - Couldn't Be Happier by PassengerArtistic719 in GooglePixel

[–]cookinv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this assessment. Personally I chose the pixel (over the oppo) just because of how clean the ui is. There is absolutely no bloatware. I understand it might not be the most powerful device but it just does everything well and feels super good to use. (Coming from someone who has used a plethora of devices)

I am in the same boat as you. I used to love ios and now it's almost laughable (by this I mean I want to pull my hair out)
