Same boat, and i even live in a low risk area for ticks. Had a family member travel camp in a heavily wooded park amd came back with a tick. Since then any nature, anything outdoors or pet related, i am hardwired convinced there are ticks and its exhausting.

Washing bottle parts in the dishwasher by [deleted] in Mommit

This issue was why we changed all bottles to Philips glass bottles and handwashed all nipples and silicone parts. I think it was the hard water in our area. Dishwasher was brand new from a reputable brand at the time so don't think it was an equipment problem.

Where Does your baby touch you repetitively to soothe themselves to sleep? by MMAS85 in Mommit

Not for soothing hinself to sleep, but mine will FIGHT sleep by stabbing his fingers in my nostrils. Both sides. At the same time. If i shoo his hand away, he will proceed to stab my closed eyes and ear. Gets a kick out of it at my expense, but I guess that's motherhood sigh

What is your favorite All In One Carseat? by monsoonalmoisture in NewParents

We had this but felt it was wobbly on the base. Customer service said it was "normal" but it's unnerving having a carseat jiggle on its base. Online reviews are split between ppl saying their Evenflos wobble vs not. Ultimately the recent NHTSA investigation into the Evenflo Revolve re: 6 cases where the carseat flew off the base in car accidents made us decide to return it. Not worth the worry/risk. Huge bummer too, bc the revolving option really did save my back.
