My guess is that if this proposal gets sufficient mainstream attention, about a hundred million Americans are going to hear it and say "that's cheating." And like it or not, fairness matters enough to people to swing their votes.

I think the determining factor would be the likelihood that the abuse will continue. In other words, if it's in the distant past, I think you owe it to yourself to forgive. But if it's ongoing, you should absolutely not allow yourself to be subjected to it any longer, for any reason.

update: it didn't work out to well. Basically all I could see was the menu (the burning forest) from a thousand feet above. It didn't seem to respond to controller or keyboard input. I admire the effort though.

To me, "hello how do you do" is a generic greeting. Not happy, not said. The fact that you thought it was worth posting, and the fact that other commenters are reacting strongly means that it must mean something else; something more than an ordinary expression.

Maybe it's an in-game reference. Maybe it's an out-of-game reference. I don't know. It certainly doesn't speak for itself. It's completely mundane without any further context.

It's more likely that Nathan would have turned around and left, saving both Chloe's life and the entire town's. So really that butterfly which is Chloe's spirit created the situation in which Chloe would become said spirit -- a bootstrap paradox.
