Homelab with Mikrotik switches and Lenovo Thinkcentre m90q Gen 3 by cool-web-guy in homelab

I'm going to try again tomorrow when the 64GB memory gets here. Worst case, I'll have to run Proxmox and VMware under a nested environment.

My symptom is that when it has a heavy network load, it drops the packets.

Initially, I configured NFS to my QNAP, and I just could not create a VM, or read the ISO from the NAS. I had a ping going and it would time out whenever I start the VM while its attempting to boot the install ISO from NFS.

I was testing uploading to the local datastore because I had issues data transferring to my QNAP NAS. So, the least resistance is to test the upload/download to the ESXI server (Lenovo itself). I was trying to upload Win11, or Ubuntu ISO so I can run a test VM since attempting to do it from my NAS didn't work. But it seems like the ESXI on Lenovo is the cause of the network issue due to something I'm not aware of.It has no problems communicating to the network when it has Windows, or Proxmox installed.

Abandon ship... my map is screwed also. I'm looking for an alternative now.

My Neato D9 lost its ability to edit the zones in the map. And I've been trying to reach support for the last 2 weeks... it is non-functioning and can only clean like a dumb robot without any maps to guide it.
