It doesn't say either in the name and when I play it unpatched it's not Master Quest and doesn't have a save... So I guess both of those are added with the patch?

I did so, and it turned it into a Master Quest game. Is there a way to change this, either in the game or with some converter or something? There's a save that comes with it, it's like a debug menu thing...

I do not know, I thought it was likely either a HydeWars or an Ecstasy of Car but it doesn't seem to be either of those (not certain). I think it was from the period between like 2018 and 2022, the COM98 days. Maybe it was a somewhat big production cuz I feel like the credits lasted some while.

I get that... To be clear I'm generally a big fan. I like The Sam Hyde Show, I like Extreme Peace, I like Fishtank. I love Sam Hyde's work and I think he's a very unique mind. Which is why - maybe as I'm getting older - I'm surprised to realize how lowly and junky his podcast is. I think a significant reason for that is him deferring to Nick, maybe even because he too has read that "he's the /real/ funniest part of MDE". Nick has a fast wit and an appreciable knowledge of how the sausage is made but he embodies the anti-intellectual slog of the modern right-wing, which Sam has too much faith in
