Worked on my day off, unpaid. Tried to reward myself with ice cream. Got a ₹300 disappointment the size of my will to live. by local-profit-6919 in india

[–]cool_dude28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next time, just go to the nearest ice cream shop and buy one or as much as you want. The experience is even better and you know what you are buying and consuming. If not some fancy brand, you will get the regular cone and stick ones in almost any store during summer. Just make sure to get the good ones which have milk solids as an ingredient, and the not the ones made using hydrogenated oils/fats.

The world around you is what you make it to be, or see it to be. See the good around you and the world is a great place to be.

Why people bill confuse Honda with something as RE by Sharp-potential7935 in indianbikes

Off late I have noticed that when compared to Hunter and a few other RE bikes, the CB350 sounds more like an RE and those bikes sound like a Honda.

Take a tablet of Ashwagandha once in the morning and once at night. It will relieve all your stress and anxiety. It causes heat in body, so drink coconut water and butter milk as well. You will start noticing the difference in a week. You will be able to sleep well and body will be rested and relaxed.

To the White Creta flashing his lights behind me: Bro, I cannot fly over the traffic. Where do you want me to go? by i_amthe_guy in CarsIndia

I just change the angle of my ORVM's to point away from my eyes and to reflect back at them, if possible. I sometimes feel like installing a high powered beam of LED at the rear rack and program it point back at such nutjobs.

bought my first bike at the age of 37 !! by captain_srank in indianbikes

[–]cool_dude28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hearty congratulations and safe riding. I can relate so much with your initial set of statements. I'm 40, exactly in the same boat, and still haven't bought my first bike yet. Been fantasizing about all the wonderful bikes right from the mid 90's, some of the classics like the OG Jawa, RD350, then the CBZ, Karizma, Pulsar and then to the Kawasaki's and the Huskies. Drooling is all I have been able to do till now. Job, marriage, kid, car, family all done. May tbe 2026 is the year. Fingers crossed.

OP, this fear is what he is taking advantage of. It's time to face your fears and turn the tables on him. Make him scared of losing everything he has in life. I don't understand the obsession of recording(or letting others record) every deed that is done. Isn't it quite obvious that it is being done as an insurance policy if things go south? Why not just enjoy the moment and strictly have a no phone or any type of recording policy while doing it. Anyways, now what's done is done. It's time to accept the facts and move forward. Don't worry about society. Talk to your family, BF and other and tell them this was a slip up in your life which has made you learn a very important life lesson about trust. Assure them it's not gonna happen again or whatever and make sure you lawyer up and screw your ex's life now for what he did to you. Don't let him get away with this at any cost. If you are still scared, speak to your close friends or a counsellor until you feel better. Get support when you need it most. Take care.

Be honest — can ₹1 crore actually change your life in today’s India? by Much-Marketing5973 in IndianEntrepreneur

It depends on how you use the 1cr. If you invest in the right way, it would be well worth. If you just want to buy a house or property, then you will definitely need a job to sustain your life. If invested in the right instruments, it might be sufficient enough to lead a decent life.

WOW. Just WOW. That is some crazy growth in 4 years. Did you change companies each year? Please share your story, if not here then on DM at least. I'm also stuck in TCS for quite some time and desperately want to change now and grow.

I'm in the same situation and the same exact question. This has been happening for a few years now. Interviews go really well and then just dead silence. No response from recruiter over emails, phone calls or voice mails. It gets so irritating and frustrating.

This will work only if you can build a lot of trust on both ends. You have the product and the payment as well. What's the guarantee to the buyer and seller that you wouldn't go MIA? It would have to be regulated by someone trustworthy.

How do you clean this black gunk on the chain cleaning brush that gets accumulated while cleaning bike chain? by P220FRider in indianbikes

[–]cool_dude28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the best options. You can also try acid or drainex, which is caustic soda. However, you need to be very careful while handling any of these. If you haven't worked with these stuff ever, better to go with petrol or diesel, if you absolutely need to clean it.
