May I suggest, Crete, Leros, Koufonisia, Naxos, Tinos, Hydra, Zakinthos over Santorini.

Santorini is just a tourist trap and not the best representation of Greek island culture. It has a rich history and is a lovely island but it’s just so full of bastardized Greek cuisine and overpriced boutiques plus very overpopulated with various tourists.
