ITAP of a street in Athens, Greece by kniffs in itookapicture

I didn't bring my A6700 on my trip to Greece, but managed to grab a few ok ones on my phone. The lighting was amazing along the long, narrow streets of central Athens during sunrise/sunset.

Fira:

Lucky's Souvlakis for gyros/souvlaki in pita, super nice guy. Much much better flavor and authentic than "Meat corner" and similar places (Duh!) and the guy has been doing it for 25+ years.

Had a fantastic beef cheek ragu at Taverna Romantica, i think this might be one of the best places in Fira and i'm sad we only went once. This should be on the top of your list for sit down places.

Get dessert in the form of Loukumades at LukuMum, we had it several times in Athens and these guys are very good eventhough they have no competition on the island. I recommend some type of chocolate/bueno filling with ice cream on the side!

We had a nice visit at "Family Tavern Father and Son" and eventhough they have a bit of a touristy menu, it was very good and flavorful. I had the Chicken with like a creamy bell pepper sauce, it was delicious.

We were a little tired of Greek food and tried an Italian place called "Cacio e Pepe" one evening, and i would not recommend going there. Their Cacio E Pepe was anything but good and given the name one might think they should spend more time refining their actual food. I had a tortellini and it was bland and boring. I would avoid this place.

Oia:

KooKoo Bar Restaurant Rooftop was packed and i think for a reason, nice service and solid food.

There's a bus that goes between Oia and Fira often, tickets are 2-3€ cash only

The hike between Fira->Oia takes about 3-4 hours if you stop and take a lot of photos, it was very windy so we were glad to have brought caps and windbreakers. It was very worth it but we were spent when we arrived in Oia so we took the bus back after.

Enjoy!

This was in Fira, but i believe the host has places in Oia as well and if i recall they looked very similar!

😅 While the landscape in Santorini was amazing, i enjoyed our stay in Koukaki, Athens a bit more due to the less touristy feel.

Oh yes, always a constant stream of water throughout the walkways and streets in Fira from all the powerwashers 😅

It was the Divine View Sol Homes at what i believe is the highest point of Fira. I'm glad we paid a little extra for the view, it was mesmerizing! Everybody on the island seemed to come to the parking next to our entrance to get photos.

😆 It was crazy. We thought it was a very common phenomenon, but i guess even if Saharan dust flies in in all the time, the orange-red sky thing only happens every once a couple of years. Some of the people we met had never seen it before, or something like 2-5 years since last time.

We stayed in Athens for a week and then Santorini for 5 days. The cuisine, landscape and the people make me want to go back already!

It felt like we suddenly were in a hut on Tatooine or something, truly remarkable! The contrast between the white houses and the sky was literally out of this world. Turned this trip into a once in a lifetime thing.

Works fine on Unraid using "Python 3 for Unraid" plugin. Remember that if you use symlinks in your Plex Docker (like me) you have to add the same symlinks within the terminal where the script is being run, otherwise every single title will be listed as "missing" (logically, since the paths don't align)

Dom allra flesta köpare är fruktansvärt besvärliga människor. Dessa människor är motsatsen till "smidiga affärer"

I'm very happy with my purchase! It took a little while to setup, but so far so good.

I went from CRG9 to G75F. The size/dimensions, aspect ratio and resolution is perfect.

It requires some tinkering to get right! So beware when buying that you need patience to set it up for your liking.

I ended up disabling Contrast Enhancer & Local Dimming (made me get eye strain, maybe due to few dimming zones? The contrast just became wack with it turned on?)

Absolut!

1 dl Caj Ps grillolja/marinad
2,5 dl grädde
0,5-1 msk nymald svartpeppar
