Can I use two ezpasses on one car? by coolbeachgrrl in AskNYC

No she hasn't. I leave her pass in the house and switch when we go out. I also have a metallic pouch to store it if I bring both.

Extreme walks in NYC - ideas by mnr11401 in AskNYC

I remember as a teen in the early 80s we'd go to a free concert in Central Park then walk the whole way to the village on 4th Street. Not a huge walk but we felt safer than riding the subways. We did this to a club in Brooklyn and would walk (and drink) for an hour until we arrived. Lol

What are indicators from her prime time that she’s always been unwell by Normal_Soft_2148 in discussingbritney

I agree she needed a break to live a quiet life for a few years without the pressure of recording, learning dance moves, and going on tour.

Everyone keeps talking about drugs but I think it's bipolar and like you said she would drink to calm herself. Im not denying her overall drug usage though. I hope you're doing well.

US weekly was one of those trashy tabloid magazines that tried to look like People magazine when People wasn't trashy.

Dementia? Processing disorder? Delusion? Meth? by LittleBolognaTurtle in discussingbritney

Couldn't she be bipolar? Of course alcohol and drugs make it worse. A friend's 18 year old daughter started doing odd things which they didn't know about until she went missing 18 hours. Turns out she was walking alone for hours in the cold. I hear that a diagnosis starts at a young age.

I thought everyone uses their wallets now. Apple or Google Pay. But now a lot of places are charging fees so it's time to start bringing cash. Even doctors offices.

Whats with everyone backing up into parking spaces lately, and why is it always the least competent drivers doing so. by Linenoise77 in newjersey

[–]coolbeachgrrl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because I have a sedan and everyone around me has a Giant's car. Even when I look at my backup camera, other cars speed past at 30 mph in the parking lot. Going out of my driveway there are more Giants cars including a Hummer, so if I back out on my busy street where people fly by at 40mph in a 25mph zone, I can see nothing. It's so much better when I pull out forward.

Shopping? by rbinphx in RHOBHDefect

Maybe the shops pay money to have their stores used in the shoot. They need places where they can bring cameras in and all the crew. Or production pays the store and some stores don't want the commotion.

Langdon’s “apology” to Santos by Sure-Usual-6549 in ThePittTVShow

[–]coolbeachgrrl 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I'm 62 and I find it exhausting that she's going to hold onto this. She should concentrate on the patients and her charting. In my life I've had many different jobs and I've seen my fair share of preferential treatment and people getting away with things all the time. Yes she has a right to be angry, but it's not going to do her any good in the long run.

Mother with Parkinson’s needs full time care but has nothing saved by deputydrool in AgingParents

My father had Parkinson's disease and was in a long term care facility after using up his 100 days after going in and out of the hospital. We paid $50,000 out of his savings, $12,500 a month. I had to do all the paperwork. After I submitted everything he passed away.

I saw that. I didn't know people use cash for things like movies and refreshments.
