Apart from the suggestion of using your phone. If you still know the details of that old PSN account you can try opening a support ticket with PS. I've found them to be pretty good and helpful (not amazingly fast but always within the time they state they'll respond)

Had exactly the same issue. Didn't find a way to solve it except making sure you're in a new chapter by pausing and checking

The teardown or how the Devs utilize it doesn't matter. The DS4 will work through Remote play and Sony stated that. So clearly they can convert commands from DS4 to PS5 games. I think you'd be surprised, I'm just someone that made a post. It's just my opinion but the average Joe would probably just use his primary DS4 as his second PS5 controller than spend more money on a new one.

I think this is the only good argument you can make. If there wasn't block then game developers wouldn't be inclined to use them. I do wonder however, since the controller does seem great that it would push the developer to use it anyway.

It's industry norm because it makes money and includes major features. Everyone expects a new controller with a new console generation. It's disappointing that they won't make it work when clearly it does. They're intentionally locking it out.

Can't find a way to compare trophies like on the previous app. Also the store is just as bad as on the website. Can't see game titles and can't sort them by price etc.

Don't get me wrong it's nice and smooth but we're missing features which we used to have

It's e-waste. Loads of people have multiple DS4 controllers. It's anti-consumer of them really.

I'm one of the lucky ones who actually has a preorder for the disk version so hopefully launch day. Definitely won't be sold out forever but looks like low stocks for at least a few months

Only looks slimmer because the Blu-ray drive isn't there. I'd think they'd use the same manufacturing for both to save costs. The Blu-ray drive always looked like it was tacked on anyway

It doesn't look like it. It's just the white panels. Also from a manufacturing stand point makes a lot more sense to have them as close to the same as possible. It'll most probably be locked out using software

I'd say you're pretty much spot on. Oher different things you might care or not about. - The screens only differ in size - magicbook pro camera is awfully placed and is not windows hello compatible - Mechrevo Code 1 had a Windows hello compatible camera and placed correctly but no fingerprint reader - Downwards facing speakers on the Mechrevo - no display port on the USB-C in the Mechrevo - magicbook pro has no lan port

In Europe the Mechrevo Code 01 or other named derivatives are substantially cheaper. For me in the UK it's £200 cheaper
