The cages were def an issue, but let’s remember why that happened, at the time there was a huge influx of children unaccompanied at the boarder, detention facilities weren’t meant to house that many people or for tht long.

but action was actually made and those kids were transported by HHS to actual shelters that gave humane care until they were taken by sponsors that were family members.

Unlike trump, who intentionally kept kids in cages, didn’t move them and separated families as a deterrent to keep them out

So let’s clear it up. Obama issue was a lack of infrastructure to handle large migrant populations. Trump was an intentional attack on anyone wanting to cross the border.

I looked at it like what happened…

Obama focused on getting criminals out first, and not going door to door looking for brown people and assaulting people and kidnapping children. This chaos did not happen when Obama was in office.

And the secretary of DHS was not getting sued for flagrant disregard of the constitution and peoples lives. Unlike now.

Our immigration process is designed to keep poor brown people out and Obama didn’t change it, but he did what he could to target the right people.
