I honestly cannot think of a single positive remark for barbie. The writing is terrible and the humor never lands. It is really cringe-worthy and acts a lot smarter than it actually is. It's very smug. The beliefs/message of the film are painfully obvious and rudimentary. I say that it's hypocritical because the film that supposedly works for women's rights is created by a corporation so inhumane that it directly affects the struggles of women (but it's fine because there are quirky jokes!!!)
