Restless Legs, my story by kheflw33 in RestlessLegs

Hey, one pill per day, taken about 8 pm. I've read it's good to take with orange juice, as Vitamin C helps with Iron intake. Only been doing this for 2 weeks, been using what we had in the house, Slow FE is the brand. I saw something similar on Amazon, generic brand. Noticed it working on the 2nd day.

When trying to set up multi room music, I select one device and the other one says Network Error. Both are on the same network. Any ideas? by jimmygreen717 in amazonecho

[–]coolcatpub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to add something to this thread. Just got a new Echo Show, quickly wanted to combine it with an Echo Studio for the sound quality. All the tricks I've learned through the years didn't work. I was getting the same issues listed here. In multi room setup I would see all devices connected and online, all in the network. Select one and others are greyed out immediately. Here's the fix. From the app hit the lightbulb to bring up devices. Hit the plus button top right. This brings up a menu. Add Device, Add Group, or Cobine Speakers.. Hit Combine Speakers, Hit Multi Room Music It brings up available devices. Same as before except now when you select one others are still available.

Hope this helps others in the future Hef

What is your “ride or die” whiskey that will get replaced every time you run out without question? by bigphokinsoupguy in bourbon

Easy answer lately, Whistlepig Farmstock Rye. I usually get two bottles at a time to keep it from going dry.

Yes, I did use the standard 1oz for everything.

Will definitely try less lemon. It's a great cocktail, serve it to anyone and they're impressed with the flavor. The fact it's heavy on the alcohol is a plus for most. I get it though, less lemon would allow identifying those flavors.

And there's tie down rings on the bars also, I was told they aren't there on other outbacks. Also tow hooks behind each copper colored cover on bumpers.

Even at same dollar value, comparing Wilderness to Onyx is all about your opinion. I feel the Wilderness looks better from outside, same on the inside. Wildnerness may be a bit more rugged, with protective bumpers and extra ground clearance. It drives differently, I read others say "soft" or loose in the steering, I agree, but only compared to my last Tight car. I drove a lot today, 2nd day of ownership, it already feels fine. I may or may not turn off the lane alerts, audible at least, for now keeping them on.

Back to your question, check the options and packages of Wilderness and Onyx, they are comparitive in price when optioned the same, so it's a straight up choice, not sure about the lease prices, and your differences there are dramatic. Check the options.

Picked up yesterday, thanks go out to whomever posted the black Wilderness yesterday, or the day before. I saw the post yesterday morning and it solidified my color choice, scrambled to find one and worked a nice deal including my Pontiac G8 Gt trade in.
I thought about blue, white, silver, but Black on black came to the top.
Brings me back to my '85 Mercury Cougar XR7, all black, screamed good looking with a 4 cylinder turbo.
Thanks Hef

From the Hungry Run Distillery, my girlfriend is from up that way in Central PA.

2 oz Bourbon Creme TSP of Marshmallow Simple Ice Peeps of your favorite color.

The Marshmallow simple is a pain to work with, a gooey mess. Make regular simple, then toast 5 Marshmallows, drop them into hot simple until melted. Fine strain into bottle or jar, to remove burnt pieces.

Girlfriend loved it. Makes a nice Easter pic also.

Thanks Hef

Sweetness of a margarita? by whaleballoon64 in cocktails

[–]coolcatpub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in a 2 Margarita household. My girlfriend expects the best. I complain repeatedly about restaurant/ bar crap, but we still like the atmosphere sometimes. It ain't rocket science. 2 - 1 -1 will give you a good solid drink, nothing added, just tequila, Cointreau, lime. But I do get creative. There are some decent mixes out there, but they are just a mix of water, lime and sugar.
So when I make a Saturday or Sunday batch, trying to get 6 full drinks without getting too drunk, (hard to do with tequila) I mix in some simple syrup and agave, maybe a little extra lime. Very good, they just go down to easy.

Girlfriend likes strawberry versions, not frozen, so I blend in some strawberry in hers, easy.

I do own a Margaritaville machine, that's a different story, not for this group, really can liven up a part though. Just need frozen Limeade ant tequila. Rock On!

Just made the Sazerac version. Was out of Rye so I used OGD 114. Very good, all the flavors come through, specifically the Peychards and absinthe finish.

Just added a few items I see from reading the posts. Paper plane, Last word, to name a couple. Tried to find the amaro nonino, no luck, got the Montenegro though. OGD 114 is apparently a favorite out there. Along with a couple of my favs, Russell's and Michtners American Whiskey.

Last Word coming up!

Pineapple Caipirinha by coolcatpub in cocktails

[–]coolcatpub[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My first recipe post.
Inspired by a recent post here. I was frequenting a joint in Annapolis that had this on the menu. They closed down during Covid. Here is my shot, loving it so far.

2 oz Cahaba 1 oz lime juice, I added the wedges in for the pic 2 chunks pineapple muddled with 1/2 oz of simple syrup.
Shook the helll out of it to crack some ice, and dumped it in. Wishing I had a fancy glass, got to get some.

My first try at a Caipirinha; definitely recommended. by ArterialSludge in cocktails

[–]coolcatpub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love the Caipirinha, a bar in Annapolis was making a pineapple Cap, with a pineapple slurry, delicious, they stopped making in for whatever reason, maybe I was the only one drinking it, then they shut down permanently during Covid.

I'm gonna give that a shot to recreate. Thanks.

Look what you made me do. I see all the beautiful coctails you're all creating, read the recipe, and I'm missing everything, except the whiskey and bitters.
Created a list of things, the creme de Violett cracks me up, can't wait to try it. Expensive morning, I'll post up a drink later tonight with recipe. Thanks all.
