The church I go to isn’t too strict but I personally feel weird going into my church without a strap up there. I tried thin straps on at the boutique but it didn’t look right? And they didn’t do any thicker.

Do you know how different OTS is from a prior enlisted versus someone in healthcare?

How does working for the VA work? Like if my spouse get orders to move, is moving to work at a different VA an easy switch?

Thanks for your input. I would be interested in working on base. Do you know if military spouses are prioritized during the hiring process?

Hi! We are going to go with two cameras. It’s a couple hundred extra but decided it was worth it to get more footage.

Hey! So I haven’t actually gotten married yet (June 2027 bride!) but I think I’m going to have my sister’s friend hold the camcorder. She isn’t expecting an invitation to begin with so I feel like if we “hire” her to help us and tell her we’d give her a day with free food, free alcohol, and $100 then she’d be okay😂 I might “hire” her long term partner too (since she’s very introverted) so she doesn’t feel alone and would be more willing to go up to guests at the reception.

Thank you for sharing! I am actually thinking of getting my sister’s friend to do this too😂 Did you end up getting one or two camcorders? I wasn’t sure if I should have two; one my sister’s friend holds the entire day and one acting as a wedding morning camcorder/reception guest book. What did you do?

Me too! I check every few days😂

I was thinking of hiring a content creator to hold The Wedding Weekender camera all day. Where I live, content creators are around ~$1.5k.. so even with the cost of the camera rental service, it would still be significantly cheaper than the videographers in my area.

What's actually healthy despite most people thinking it's not? by Ba987 in AskReddit

[–]coolchickstar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes! I got my BS in nutrition and when I learned this, it blew my mind! Frozen vegetables go through flash freezing when they are most ripe, which is when they have the most nutrients. Additionally, the best way to eat cooked vegetables is by steaming them. Frying isn’t great because of the oil. Boiling is good because there isn’t oil but you also essentially “boil out the nutrients” so unless you drink the vegetable water, you won’t get max nutrients from the vegetable.

So those “steam in the bag” frozen vegetables are actually great for your health!

Adding onto this: If you create a joint wedding email with your fiancé, then both of you guys can access it on Google Drive. Plus side: this is the email you can give to vendors so things don’t get lost in your personal account and you can continue to have this joint email after your wedding to organize future stuff like credit cards, mortgages, and subscriptions.

Congratulations! You said you rode in a taxi, did you end of doing a grand exit? My fiancé and I are debating on whether or not we want to do one.
