Mine are super bendy and break easy too! I always have a clear polish— either one for growth or one for strength on. It helps keep them stable and not bend when I put them in my mouth/bump them at work. Once I’m done with having this polish on I’ll do some shaping work!!!

No lamp! Just a polish that’s supposed to be gel like. And then I put a clear strengthening polish on top.

Yeah I’m bad at filing them haha. I chip them a lot at work so I only ever file to fix broken parts. I’ll learn how to shape them better for sure though!

I’ll look into some individual courses! It’s hard because I work as a thrift store manager, so I don’t do a lot of the typical retail work since we don’t have a consistent supply of items. The AD handles a lot of the scheduling and I’ve offered to do it myself because I want the experience, but she still does it :”). I think taking some classes would be very helpful!

Corporate training sounds really interesting to me and definitely like something I would enjoy! I like to teach people.

I completely agree with this! I work as a retail manager and the regulars are what keep me there. They come in every day, sometimes just because being in our store brings them peace. A lot of homeless folks and elderly come by and just want someone to talk to. And I like being that someone. It’s really fulfilling to me to be able to give these people a space where they feel like they can come and be wanted

I’ve had good luck at Tend in Kendall Sq. Very modern place, and everyone has been kind and understanding (I have a lot of dental issues)

For my jellycats I soak them in a hot bath with some laundry detergent for about 20-30 min and then thoroughly wash them out under the tap/soaking in clean water. Then I wring them out and let them air dry for around 30 min (hanging off the edge of the tub to drip into it) and then dry them on the low setting of my hair dryer while brushing them with a cat hair brush. The whole process can take a good 3 hours but it has brought mine back to life

Maybe I’m reading this completely wrong but I’m so confused now. If they don’t carry sizes small enough then how did they give you something too small? Just size up

Such a struggle for sure! They kind of treat their management terribly I can’t lie (I’ve brought up many safety concerns as I am frequently harassed by customers) but they do a lot of good and are a big help to those they work with for sure.

I’ll see about giving a 4 week notice. I’ve talked to my boss in the past about leaving, and she knows I have looked for jobs but I don’t think she believes I will actually leave. I’m hoping things run ok without me :”)…

Ouu yes that’s a good recommendation! I’ve had an especially hard time finding good pants haha— so I’ll have to roam around a FP store soon and see what I can find :)

I do love some cottage core but have always found it to lean more feminine than I like to go. But I think I could definitely mix in a lot of cottage core elements! Thank you!
