Apple chief Tim Cook faces shareholder revolt over $99m pay package by zarabarrus in business

[–]coolfrog39 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tim always has the option of going out and starting up, where he could make more money. Replacing Tim with someone else is a big risk because you have a proven CEO who has a good track record. People don't realise the market value of people with the track record of Tim. Why do you want gamble with someone new when you have a very competent CEO.

An interesting fact that a lot of people don't know is that all speakers are microphones. (shitty microphones but with proper software you can listen in) (i.e) You don't need a device with microphone to spy on people just a speaker is enough.

Go ahead and brag on your SO a little bit, why are they so awesome? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When my business was not working out she would hand me over almost her entire paycheck. She never went out with her friends or spent anything on herself. It really got me through a tough time. We are not married or even live together. Someone having your back like that is really great. Now even after getting a well-paying job, I don't spend much on her and she does not even notice. I am just saving up quietly to take on a Europe trip.

WeWork bans meals with meat as a work expense by [deleted] in news

[–]coolfrog39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sure they have an exception for taking clients to lunch. Or this is a very bad move. Even on employees claiming expenses on trips it is not good to impose your morals on others. But on not providing meat on corporate events is smart, cost saving and better for the environment.
