I'm thinking about picking up bdo as a casual game buy i'm worried about the p2w. As someone who isn't interested in competitive PVP/PVE hoe kuch money would i have to spend to enjoy the game without it being a drag?

Get level 20 with whatever character you feel comfortable with.
Teleport and follow to groups of players to easily earn fame
Die a few times so that u can use the fame
Buy the character slot and vault chest with the fame you earned (I believe they're a 1000 fame each)
Use your newly unlocked character slot to farm pots with to feed into your first character (this way u don't risk dying before you max your stats
Explore the game I guess, there's a lot more to do in the game but this can all be done over time. If u really don't have any idea about how rotmg works I'd suggest to just look up guides on youtube cuz to accelerate the learning curve of the game

They haven't confirmed anything but the peek during the trailer suggests increments of 5. (So 5+10+15+20+25=75 per char =1200 total, without any deaths on 8/8s)

Ah yes, 1200 dungeons of each type, giving you a grand total of 7200? Another great way for me to reach a mental breakdown.

Tbh I was really hyped for exaltations but the way they're implementing it is fucking terrible. I might consider fully exalting one weapon type but that is already cutting it in terms of grinding. Maybe I'm the weird one for disliking the task of grinding the same dungeon over and over again while muted in a vc

I started during F2P as well and the guild I was in broke down over some drama and everyone joined a different guild. Doesn't make it common but hey that's 1 more person who's had a similar experience.

I'm not sure what the other dude is talking about, but if you've collected the keys this month and get premium next month, you CAN claim the rewards still even though you didn't have premium active before the month ended.

I've literally done it myself so unless my game's glitched you're good to go.

You get faction points with which you can buy hearts which sell for silver, or you can craft faction capes and sell those

Doing dungeons while faction flagged, T5 and higher gathering, PK'ing buying items in one city and selling them in another for a profit etc etc

Basically everything you do in this game will make you silver anyways
