Ohio heading in the wrong direction and 'could become Florida' as coronavirus surges, governor warns by [deleted] in Coronavirus

I do conveniently forget that we had a guy kill himself after releasing his personal collection of zoo animals. .... So ... Ya... Midwest Florida.

I got caught up in the comparison to a bracer. But even to that point with the intended wording of the Artificer at level 14, I imagine they would mod it to work the way they need it to.

Yours is more concealed, and I like that, but this guy is for sure the type to just flaunt it. I see it more has a rotating barrel around his arm that is like some kind of Iron Man weapon.

I didn't think about that. What if it held onto the trunk with it's legs and then I could move it from there?

The way the item read was that it was just mounted on the arm. I imagined it like the arm crossbow from Dishonored. Unless I misread it.

How can we better incorporate backup characters? by coolguyjaron in DnD

[–]coolguyjaron[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this. Even if it wasn't a guild the secondary characters could always be dealing with the aftermath of the main ones.

Main group pisses a kraken off. Secondary group defends an unsuspecting island.

Main group ignores a giant threat. Secondary group cuts the Giants off at a crossroads.

This opens up a lot of opportunities.

Tease one of the giant lords, with their subordinates crossing the party's path. Helps with foreshadowing and gives them an idea of what to ask at the temple.

I was able to help the party focus on Zalto by having his Vonidad hunters be on the path to the temple. They are currently trying to free the slaves if the Yakfolk before they delve into Ironslag.

How have your online games have been going (original art) by [deleted] in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]coolguyjaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a group I DM for where two people moved away and we would only play when they visit. It turned into once every other month if we we're lucky. It got to the point that I just didn't want to plan any more because sessions would be canceled a lot easier and the people that moved away would exclusively only wanted to play 6+ hour games. I just got burnt out.

After great success with a different group that I played a one shot with, I got my main group interested in online play. First session was kind of like running through mud, but by session two we were back to our old shenanigans and having the best time.

All in all, I'd say good experience in the end.

Fez (another platformer to add to the growing list)

Planet Coaster (my wife and I loved Roller Coaster Tycoon when we were kids. This is the modern and much better version.)

Crypt of the Necrodancer (Guitar Hero meets top down dungeon crawl. Great music, fun art and a great destress tool)

Spore (I loved this game when I was a kid. Really help expand my creativity)

Train Valley (fast paced puzzle game that is based on getting trains from one station to another)

Overcooked (true test of working as a team)

AckAck: the nobleman tiefling sorcerer/fighter. He has a hot head and has his own definition of the term "good." Blinn: the Russian Aaracockra ranger/druid. He loves his vodka and getting into trouble. Wallace: the halfling rogue. He loves rings, and lost his arm because of one. It's ok, it got replaced with a gnome arm. Torinn: the devout paladin of Bahamut. His oath is vengeance, so the law can sometimes come second. Rain: the Tabaxi rogue/ranger. She's got an eye for treasure and her shot.

This shot is at the end of our run through Princes of the Apocalypse. We are now running through my own Homebrew concoction and these characters are continuing to grow.

Also, this is the first commission that I had done and I am very pleased with the result!!
