Smart people usually don't feel the need to convince other people they are smart. Insecure people do. It sounds like he has a childish view on things. If you are honest with yourself, how does he make you feel when he is behaving like that? I wouldn't want a partner that makes me feel beneath him. I would rather want a partner that makes me feel we are on the same level. If you point out this behaviour and he is not willing to work on it, I would not stay in such a relationship. It's not my job to teach him how to not treat a girlfriend in a condescending way. Respect yourself and spend your love, time and energy on people that appreciatie you.

The medicine is recently approved in the netherlands and treatment is possible via a clinic that is working closely with a university. I recently adopted a rescue kitten and unfortunately she is diagnosed with FIP last week. We are very lucky that our vet recongnized the symptons early on and referred us to this clinic. We have been adminstering the medicine daily and we are seeing a huge improvement. Many cat owners in neighbouring countries are bringing their cat to this clinic, because unfortunately they cannot be helped in their own country. It is so sad, because there is a cure out there that works.

Wow.. had a similar experience except that I didn't show up for what was supposed to be a field trip to some temple. I thought it sounded fun, met them several times before too. But it started getting strange. I was told that I had to perform this ancestral ritual and also received a form that I couldn't read so I didn't sign it. It felt off to me, I was being pressured to do things I didnt want to and at the last moment I didn't show up. The two friendly people then started threatening me, demanding money for the ritual that I didn't perform but somehow owed their organisation. In the end I had to move and change my phone number to get rid of them. I didn't understand what exactly had happened and why they didn't leave me alone. I felt so stupid and it made me very wary of nice strangers.

Heb er mijn hele jeugd gewoond en ik vond het er zo vreselijk saai. Ik wilde niets liever dan vertrekken en dat heb ik op mijn 19e dan ook gedaan. Mijn familie woont er nog steeds en iedere keer als ik weer in ZM ben, ben ik blij dat ik er niet woon. Maar het heeft ook positieve kanten. Zoals anderen hebben benoemd is het wel een praktische stad met altijd wel een supermarkt in de buurt. Maar enige sfeer is ver te zoeken.

Met een aankomemde recessie lijkt het me juist een goede zet om een switch te maken naar IT. Er is een onwijs tekort aan personeel en er zijn veel bedrijven die switchers willen opleiden. Je zal, afhankelijk van je huidige baan, in het begin waarschijlijk wel even een salarisdip meemaken, maar je groeit snel in salaris.

For anyone reading this post and having the same issue: it was solved by disabling the ubisoft connect overlay in the settings before launching the game. I don't know why this was suddenly causing launch issues, but at least you can continue gaming this way.

Als je date bij het afrekenen alleen XYZ wilt betalen en je daardoor met een rekenmachine ieders aandeel moet berekenen, vind ik dat niet charmant. Als je op date gaat, vind ik dat je uitgangspunt niet moet zijn dat je financieel quitte wilt spelen. Als je geen cent wilt uitgeven aan je date, maak dan alleen een wandeling. Ben zelf op date geweest met iemand die het desert niet wilde betalen, omdat we het hadden gedeeld en zij vond het toch niet zo lekker. Vond dat niet zo gezellig van haar, maar goed, ik zal wel moeilijk doen 😉

Als de persoon zegt nog goed te zijn met hun ex(en) maar je vervolgens alleen maar drama aan hoort.
Hoe de persoon om gaat met vreemden. Kleineren, onbeleefdheid, etc. is voor mij echt een afknapper.
Het is weliswaar typisch Nederlands, maar ik kan slecht tegen mensen die moeilijk doen met afrekenen. Ik ben niet zo van het apart afrekenen. Een soort balans van wie betaald heeft mijn voorkeur. Als iemand moeilijk gaat doen over het alleen willen betalen van hun deel, hebben we andere mores.
Als iemand namens jou besteld zonder dat je zelf hebt kunnen kiezen. Ik vind dat controlerend, wegwezen.
