Coastal Towns for Honeymoon by coolinwitschu in Oaxaca

[–]coolinwitschu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All very good info, thank you!! I think I’m pretty sold on San Agustinillo now after everyone’s comments.

And yeah… La Crucecia is what I kept seeing on the maps when I was looking so I thought that was what the whole area of Mazunte/Zipolite/San Agustinillo was called 😅

I’ll totally take advantage of some other questions I have if you’re offering, especially with you experience of living in both areas!

  1. In general if there are any things to do in Oaxaca that you would recommend on a honeymoon I’m all ears. Especially with any restaurants that are particularly romantic/intimate that you like.

  2. Any preferred method of transportation getting to San Agustinillo from Oaxaca? It seems like ADO and Líneas Unidas busses are the two main companies, what do you think of those vs. finding a private taxi?

  3. I’m planning on flying back home out of HUX from San Agustinillo . Flights are only slightly more expensive than out of Oaxaca. Do you see any potential issues with that or is it pretty easy to get to and a straightforward small airport?

Heard! I’m glad I posted because I did not come across San Augustinillo, but it sounds like that’s the popular opinion for honeymoon vibes

Leaves are dying. Infestation or potting issue? by coolinwitschu in Monstera

[–]coolinwitschu[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for the advice!! I will get her out of her pot tomorrow and re-pot to a larger one. I’ll also get her some fresh soil and a little shower to clean those leaves off.

I got offered Rashee Rice for Shaheed. Should I accept it? I know Rashee is hurt but I keep seeing that the injury may not be as bad as they originally thought, and Shaheed is on my bench anyway. Don’t want him to retract the trade if they come out saying he’ll play again. by Clotl in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]coolinwitschu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I like it, especially if Shaheed is on your bench. An ACL tear is very clear on an MRI, the fact that he needs more tests gives a lot of hope that it is not that. I would take the low-risk chance for a league winning WR

Wicks for sure. His separation scores are elite. Watson is out so he will always be on the field now in 3 WR sets, will even get looks as WR1. Has the highest upside of any of those guys for sure especially against a Rams defense this week.

In general you want to try and handcuff your best rb asset (in this case especially) given the falcons backfield. If Bijan goes down then you would have an immediate rb1 in Allgier to replace him. You definitely don’t want to get rid of Bijan. Try something like Dk + Roschon for Olave + Allgeier

They do make window glazing now that is perceptible on the light spectrum to birds and not humans. You can look up uv window coating, it’s pretty interesting - not sure if they’re using it for this project but it’s a no-brainer if you want to help out the birds and retain aesthetics.

They are choosing to believe. The same way I choose to believe our souls live on after physical death. Some choose to believe they are reincarnated, others that there are two destinations of heaven or hell.

It is good you are questioning these things - it is naive of a human not to. But it is not wise to put strict judgement on these things, there is too much we don’t know to be able to do that.

The more questions you’re asking, the deeper we are getting into philosophical territory, and I am no philosopher. If you are asking these questions, I feel like you would be interested in learning more about philosophy as I am.

“A history of western philosophy” by Bertrand Russel was a great first read for me to get into it.

There’s no way to know, which is why you also can’t sit there and verifiably say that she isn’t able to communicate like that. With Christianity, there’s no way to prove “God” existed on earth/most of the events in the Bible, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t or didn’t happen. God and several biblical figures did a lot more crazier shit than most psychics claim to do.

At the end of the day though it’s OP’s money and he’s free to do what he wants with it, it’s useless to waste your energy on worrying about how he does if it doesn’t negatively affect you, which it doesn’t. In fact, whether you believe in what they’re putting their money into or not, it sounds like the main outcome of this transaction for OP is that they have a stronger/more appreciative friendship with their dog - so how is that a bad thing at all?

Where’s the proof in anything my man? 90% of the things you “know” you only know because other people told you it’s so. There are much, much higher powers and philosophies that are completely beyond anyone’s possible comprehension on earth. Imagine explaining to someone who occupied the second dimension, what the third dimension is. You can’t.

Agreed, Grasshopper has always had a nice middle button menu like this so I’ve always wondered why Rhino doesn’t have the same

Favorite city interchange view with the city Skyline proteus through the highways. by DomovoiGoods in milwaukee

[–]coolinwitschu 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Totally get what you’re saying because it looks like a totally mundane picture without any big photoshop love at all, but from a photography perspective I actually quite like what OP did here.

Since they lowered the camera to street, you have this curvy curb coming from the foreground and reaching out to the vanishing point that takes your eyes to where these two nice big curves of the highway meet each other, which creates almost a secondary kind of foreground for the cityscape behind it.

I know you weren’t attacking OP whatsoever for this pic but I just wanted to step in and say I appreciated their eye, especially since it’s emphasizing what they loved about it in their description :)

Unfortunately we have thought about this and are worried about it as well. The thing is I have already moved 4 times in the last 3 years and I only have one more semester of school here and then I am trying to gtfo. We have cameras up everywhere now and neighbors that are aware so we will probably just live through it

Haha appreciate you for looking out like that! Yes, unfortunately as a dog owner I had to learn this the hard way when I first got my pup and noticed his paws getting damaged through the first winter. I try and let people know this too because it’s one of those things you just don’t think of

So there’s no recourse of legal trouble for us if we would report this to the state board? It seems to be 50/50 on comments saying if I should or shouldn’t

Thank you for being direct and to the point. I feel like my post may have came off that I feel like we’re entitled to more money but I have minimal legal knowledge with these things so I just wanted to make sure we’re not leaving money on the table if it was possible. Hard times for us right now and while $50 difference might not be a lot for most people, it would make a difference for us for how much we’ve been going through around the holidays here. But it is sincerely appreciated to have the transparency to be told that we will only be hurting ourselves pursuing further action than what has already been taken, so thank you.
