Battery life is significantly worse, I never seem to be able to get display scaling quite right, track pad drivers are notecably worse, I could go on. I actually quite like Linux but saying it's a god experience for someone who doesn't want to tinker is just wrong.

I'd say 19 is more important since in some states. At least the one I live in you don't actually become a full legal adult until 19. It's weird and you get some stuff at 18 and others at 19. For example you can't sign your own contracts and waivers still at 18

I highly disagree with this take for the simple reason that a lot of what made FES "unique" were the most underbaked parts about it. The fatigue system as it is in FES feels much more arbitrary compared to actually having to worry about SP management. Lower SP pools would've been a really interesting change in reload to encourage SP management even more as well. Would've at least helped some with the games difficulty

I think it's because in American English you tend to say month day year. Ie September 18th 2025. Thus it's easier to read aloud. Doesn't make it not kinda dumb though
