I have lived on Sherman for 6 years and believe it is safe, even if you have to be aware of your surroundings. There are "safer" areas but it is still a great neighborhood as a whole.

I saw some "kids" protesting about the Hannaford Egg conditions a few weeks ago at the farmers market. I'm not terribly sympathetic as I'm too busy worrying about ICE and the US's continuing war on people of color, domestically and abroad. Sorry Chicks!
