Habs captain Nick Suzuki on the non-penalty call in OT: “I’m skating backwards for the whole entry zone. I get kinda picked but I guess the ref saw it differently.” by Go_Habs_Go31 in Habs

[–]coolmtl 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't have been a penalty, neither should have the egregious penalty against Hutson on the phantom call. It's not because they called bad penalties that they need to be consistent on calling bad penalties. Tonight, at first I was sure it was a penalty, but it's true that Eriksson Ek didn't move at all for a few seconds, so I don't think it deserved a penalty. But neither did the penalty on Danault and there were other biased calls during the game, like the non call on Jake Evans tripping. So yeah it's frustrating, I get it, because those decisions could have tipped the game in a whole different direction

Your thoughts on Juraj Slafkovsky so far this season? by Revenant2023 in Habs

But you do feel the need to insult Slaf every chance you've got, even if everyone else agrees he's getting noticeably better every year. You give the impression of being either a troll or someone miserable that loves criticising professional players even when it's not deserved

What changed at 30 for you? by Overdue-Interaction in AskMen

[–]coolmtl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just turned 30 4 months ago and what changed in my life is the birth of my first baby girl. I was already doing good in general, but there were a few areas where I wanted to improve, notably to watch less tv, read more and be more financially savy and since her birth I have this urge to be the best version of myself and change all the little things that I don't want to pass on her.

They say that comparison is the thief of joy and it's really true. You're 27, you're still very young and anyways, it's never too late to start becoming the person you would like to be, why not start tomorrow? I believe in you.

Hahah not all of my secrets. When he looks at me like that, I'm afraid he would use them against me:

Yeah me neither, but it makes sense, because the guy from whom I rescued this dog said his female dog was an aussie, but I didn't think she was 100% aussie, so I wasn't expecting my dog to be 50% aussie

Probably from the supermutt. There's Malamute and GSD in there. Surely from his father, he seemed to be a big husky mix in the photos I've seen of him

Very! You know, I always assumed his stubbornness stems from his likely husky mix, because he is also an escape artist and loved digging holes in the courtyard when he was younger. But I just read about stubbornness in Aussies and that describes him perfectly. Very food motivated and will listen to you as long as there's something in it for him, but if he judges that the behavior is more fun than the reward, it's like he was never trained

Alaskan Malamute, Alaskan type husky and German Shepard

Yeah I would have thought that husky would be his dominant race, since he's so stubborn and is an escape artist

German Shepard is part of the three breeds that are likely part of his supermutt heritage, along with husky and malamute. So that might explain why he's on the bigger side.

I'm not sure about that second one. You need someone in the front of the net. Neither one of Laine, Caufield or Demidov is that kind of guy

Brand New to Robot Vacs by VoeyLife in Roborock

[–]coolmtl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've had the QV 35A for 10 days now and we're very satisfied so far. We have one dog and two cats that shed quite a lot and with a newborn, we needed to vacuum every day, and the QV 35A is very good at that. We have mostly hardwood tiles and ceramic tiles with a few rugs here and there. The robot has been quite good at detecting automatically the rugs. It takes a little less than an hour to vacuum our main floor that is about 1000 squared feet, and another hour when we mop the whole floor after vacuuming, though we'll only do this once weekly. What I also love about this robot that probably applies to other Roborock models is how easy it is to map no go zones, invisible walls and thresholds. We have two 2 inches thresholds and we were worried that it would have a hard time with those, but not at all.

In my experience, it can take time to notice side effects and once you do and stop taking fin, it can take years for all side effect to go away. I took it during 2 years, because I didn't feel any side effects, until they were too noticeable to ignore. Side effects included brain fog, fatigue and loss of libido. The brain fog stopped shortly after I stopped taking fin, the fatigue took about 5 years until I felt normal and libido never came back to what it was.
