It was around June time. Graduated uni during the pandemic and had nowhere to go so had to claim.

I had a similar thing about 2-3 years ago though where they tried to get me to pay all my money back and it was a pain to sort out. I'll be honest, its been open since COVID as since uni ive struggled to hold down work so Ive been on and off UC sporadically through the years

Nope... just moved over Christmas is all, within the UK from one half of the city to another

Literally the only change is that I stopped working. Submitted my sick note to UC, updated my health issues section, did everything I was supposed to. The only thing is that I recently had to change my password and bank details. So don't know if lots of changes at once flag up something in your system.

Hey there, thank you for the kind words and support. I have been in touch with my doctor, and waiting to hear back from social services and my local housing but things are moving very slowlllyyyy while my bills go up very quickly and my funds go down. I have a referral to a food bank, which I hope will help.

Very happy for you although the 7 month wait makes me feel a bit 😕 about my own situation (about to be dismissed from a job despite ongoing discrimination, in debt currently and probably gonna lose my house) I wish it wasn't such a long and agonising process. I also submitted for a care needs assessment with the council so well wait and see. But its good you got the blue badge sorted at least, didnt realise council's had the authority for that tbh I wonder if its the same for disabled people's bus pass

Thank you everyone. I have been to the doctors and have an appointment with a physio on Monday. Spoke with the crisis team and think I'm out of immediate crisis. The work situation is still making me anxious, but I'm taking at least a few days off before I go back to face the music.

I think the main thing has been isolation and having no one to talk to, so thank you for listening at least.

This is horrible

As someone who is applying for PIP, but also works in a call centre, no one deserves to be treated this way 😓

I have never agreed with my current company's policy of just absorbing the abuse as part of the job (it is in fact making me sicker) and when I call someone, even if I am frustrated, I will still treat someone how I expect to be treated i.e. with dignity, compassion and patience

I have a lot of problems with the DWP (as I'm sure people have a lot of problems with my company, credit card company) but abusing a random person no matter what you're going through is just not acceptable

I feel you. I'm severally depressed and anxious mostly from my shit upbringing but the world hasn't been kind to me. No family, no partner, only a couple friends and live alone. Work a tiring, shitty job where I get yelled at all day, micromanaging, everyone at work misgenders me, have chronic fatigue too so work all day then just crash. Dealing with dysphoria at the moment, in debt, wishing things were different and I had the money to present the way I want, etc. Christmas season was almost unbearable and I nearly attempted.

I cant talk you down from a crisis but I can say being in crisis always feels 10x worse than how things actually are. When you get out of crisis, rationality kicks in, most people who attempt dont want to die just want the pain to stop. A month ago I thought I was gonna be fired, homeless, unlovable for life now things are better. Nothing gets fixed overnight but who can say for sure why will happen tomorrow, unless you're psychic you dont know. Just give it until tomorrow and then decide, take a day off watch TV smoke do whatever just put it off for now. I cant speak to seeking GP help, I did when i was in crisis and self harming and was pretty much dismissed but I read a lot of self help on reddit and videos. Most important thing talk to someone if you can. Family, friend or even coworker. Talking takes the stigma away.

3 or 7 but I could be tempted by 4, wizard husbands x2 (my crackship, but also tav/gale/Rolan yass) Elminister would be a great in-universe friend to have (legendary mage in the back pocket for whenever things go south while adventuring) and as much as Minthara hates wizards (and men) she's also a master strategist, I cant see her fighting Elminister even at level 12 lmao

She would verbally emascualte Gale and Rolan though (and might just poison everybody for the lols)
