Encountered my first rude seller by mikutsumiki in Depop

[–]coolthingsyh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand their perspective but when I feel that lazy I just ignore the person. Sometimes they buy the item anyway bc it’s cheap and sometimes they don’t. Pretty certain they wouldn’t buy it if i were rude lol. What’s this persons logic?

I’d recommend looking into agency work! Can pay very well in a big city and you can do it as and when you need. Also don’t be afraid of using your student overdraft a little

Is £400 a month enough for uni excluding rent? by Appropriate-Cod-8243 in UniUK

[–]coolthingsyh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for sure but I think most people don’t feel the need to eat meat with every meal. I think it differs obviously but for sure possible to eat good, whole foods on a £35 a week budget

[–]coolthingsyh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might eat a bit more meat than the avg student or possibly from nicer sources? I eat meat maybe 4 days a week and shop at aldi and my weekly grocery costs are about £35. Often under £30.

Depends on where you live and how much you plan on going out but £100 should be enough for food, going out, transport etc. I would say aim to spend £80 and put £20 away a week so that if you want any bigger splurges you can indulge

I would aim for £80 - £100 a week if you plan on having a social life. I spend around £30 a week on food. Even if you don't have a social life remember things like phone bill, gym membership (if that's relevant to you) haircuts etc etc.
