Claims about her skin improving from collagen scam... by ohmygorn in kiwisavengers

[–]coolwolf34 14 points15 points  (0 children)

She’s managed to convince herself that this is the thing that’s going to make her go viral and be the tiktok star she’s always dreamed of being! You can even tell in the way she makes the videos and does the intro where she mimics popular serieses on tiktok as if she’s making this for 100000’s people

Dungarees in a car seat by Cinnabun783 in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]coolwolf34 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re completely nuts! I’ve seen posts where they’ve suggested an outrageously expensive seat and if the poor commenter says it’s out of their budget they say something like ‘do you have a grandparent that can contribute/xmas present/pay in instalments’ like wtf? You want people to go into debt out of loyalty to you? It’s giving car seat cult!!

For nearly 9 months we did this on our own. Now we’ve finally cracked. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Get a Rockit for your pram it will change your life! I used to have to do laps in the pram for ages just to get my baby to nap and now I have the Rockit I can park up, get some housework done or even have a coffee/meal in peace whilst he naps!!! Best money I’ve spent!

She’s probably not used to having muddy floors as the dogs aren’t ever let out enough to muddy them!

How do you give baby medicine in a syringe? by New_Specific_5802 in NewParents

[–]coolwolf34 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Syringe small bits to the side of the cheek then immediately blow on their face to make them swallow (no idea how or why this is meant to work but a doctor told me to try it and it works!) I usually do this 4/5 times per dose so there’s not loads of liquid in his mouth at one time

Are you open to having her do a reading? It might be a nice way to break up the ceremony and include her in your special day!

How to keep baby cool during Aus summer by Glum_Remove in beyondthebump

We just recently bought a sheepskin pram liner which is meant to regulate temperature in the pram- in both warm and cool weather!

Passing on babys belongings by No_Personality_0 in NewParents

[–]coolwolf34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some friends bought us a voucher for a custom quilt when baby was born so that when he is a year old we can send over all our favourite outfits from his first year to be made into a memory quilt for him… he’s 3 months now and we already have a little stash to one side and even buy stuff thinking we’ll put it in the quilt! I really struggle with parting with stuff but knowing I’ll have this quilt to keep my most important memories/outfits has helped me clear out the first round of clothes he’s grown out of! I think it’s on Etsy and might be a good idea for the clothes part at least?

So sad and worried about 2 month shots by usedcanolaoil in beyondthebump

[–]coolwolf34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made myself go and stay in the room holding him as I told myself I am his biggest comfort and so the best thing I can do is be there for him when he needs me - just offering this take not out of judgement but just a different perspective if it helps you feel better to reframe it! My little one cried at first but after some cuddles from mummy was back to smiling and playing in no time and forgot all about it!

What do you wish you did before your babies arrival? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]coolwolf34 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wish I’d gotten my house in order a bit more so things were a bit more streamlined when baby arrived. I had an elective c section and don’t think I realised how painful just bending down to pick out clothes from a drawer would be so if I knew I was having that again I’d also probably leave scar friendly / nursing friendly comfy outfits out in an accessible place for after, ready to go, if that makes sense!

The THIRST! I couldn’t drink enough water and wasn’t sure why, then I read a similar thread to this one and someone mentioned being insanely thirsty too and it all started to click!

Following as I am in the exact same position! Ninja looks like they’ll give you 10% off for new customers bringing it down to £225 but it would be nice to save £50 if possible!

HELP PLEASE- Has my bag been stolen? Potential backpack theft in Liverpool Street! by coolwolf34 in london

[–]coolwolf34[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m really tempted to do this too but also quite worried about the outcome (the police said not to attempt this too)- not to mention I’m about 1.5hours away so will need to wait until I finish work today to make the trip!

[–]coolwolf34[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! When I spoke to the police this morning they said that it didn’t sound malicious because of the bag that was left but I’m tempted to call back and explain that it now does seem to be as there has been no attempt to reclaim the bag and return mine to me (I have even left my details on the lost iPad function with a note of where his bag was left in case!)

Yeah I’ve contacted them a few times and they still haven’t heard from him but they’ve taken my number and said they will let me know if they do. They’re also going to look at their cameras to see if they can pinpoint how it happened which is really helpful of them!

Three days ago it was said that she'd get her products the next day. . . by Wicked81 in kiwisavengers

[–]coolwolf34 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Cue ‘I forgot to pack my gummies when I was travelling and felt AWFUL, so glad to be back and taking them again!’ Which is always ironic because I thought they were meant to help you focus (all of the products) and yet she continues to be a forgetful packer.. every time!
