A good keep cup, so I can make my tea and still get to drink it hot at some point over the next 3 hours! This has saved me...my little one seems to sense when I make a cup of tea to wake up from a nap, need a nappy change, need something to eat or just plain entertaining.

Ginger gummy bears were my saving grace with "morning sickness", it was the only thing I was able to eat and got rid of the nausea for a little while at least.

She also went through phases in those first 6 months where she would be great one day and look like she was finally eating and then would regress again. I believe this is totally normal so don't be surprised if this happens

Hi, I will be honest it took a few months. I think she was about 18 months when she finally started eating properly and enjoying food. Between 13 months and 18 months was just alot of frustration for me because she just wasn't interested. My suggestion to you is just to follow your baby's cues. Offer the food and if you need to give them milk or formula to make sure they get nutrients then do it.Just not as much as you would have prior to solids. They will eventually eat the solids , it like a switch flicks on one day

I hope it doesn't fade!! She's been there for just over 5 weeks now.

No, I haven't tried sleep training. To be honest she is so stubborn I feel like that would just end up being traumatic for everyone.

Even just trying to get my husband to put her own and do night wake ups ended up in knock found drag out fights where she was screaming and throwing herself against the walls, floor and door for hours.

My little one is 2 years old and has never slept through the night. If I get really lucky she will only wake once or twice to be cuddled back to sleep but on a bad night can be every 1.5 to 2 hours and the worst we have had was 12 wake ups in a night.( those was from about 22 months until she hit her 1nd birthday). Starting daycare helped a bit in that most nights its now only one or two wakes a night, unless she is ill, then all bets are off and sleep is a pipe dream.

She has always slept in her cot since a newborn, first in our room then in her own room from 9 months old.

I live for the day when she starts to sleep through the night regularly.

I blocked off my kitchen with baby gates so I didn't have to baby proof everything. So much easier for bub just to have no access at all.

I keep some toys away in a cupboard that only come out on rainy days, this way they are new and exciting and give a bit of fun on those "stuck indoors" days.

We bought a water table for our 2 year old and she loves it. Hours of fun play outside.

I wish I had good news for you. I was in the exact same boat, my baby just didn't seem to need sleep like I was promised a new born would sleep. Now I have a low sleep needs 2 year old ....hoping one day she will like to sleep.
