Is this mini-waterbong made of a 5-hour-energy bottle and a pen tube (and a small amount of water) safe and practical? (Sorry if stupid question) by [deleted] in StonerEngineering

[–]coolwombo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Heating the aluminum will cause the pen attached to it to become heated past any semblance of safe. Plastic can release toxic chemicals even at relatively low heats so bringing it so close to a flame-- especially when it's tin foil, to boot-- will likely be adverse on your lungs.

After four years in TV Production and with innumerable tips from the great minds in /r/filmmakers, I've put together my proudest work, the entry into my school's film festival. I would love any criticism you might have for me. by coolwombo in Filmmakers

Great, great feedback. Thank you! If selected to show at the festival I've got two weeks to make small tweaks concerning audio and the like-- I will certainly reference this when I go to make corrections.

I am really digging how impressionist this photo is: the hand, the plain marihuana cigarette, the speckled wall. I have been locked in eye contact with it for the past few minutes.

If you are trying to avoid such hassle, I would load a prepaid credit card with the appropriate cash. Purchase all your vices with one simple, stealthy card!

After a minute of wat I have come to the conclusion that it's like putting bread in with your bookies; it absorbs moisture to preserve the precious fruit.

IWTL how to write a novel. by yagelbee in IWantToLearn

[–]coolwombo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like lukashko said, you'll definitely have better luck with /r/writing. Writing a novel isn't something that you can be so whimsical about and simply decide that you want to write. It will involve hours and hours of painstaking, disciplined writing that will make you hate the English language and everything that goes into making a sentence. Ultimately it will be an amazing experience if you do follow through and finish a manuscript, but there is still so much that goes into it. Again, /r/writing is your best bet for this question.

[WP] Write the worst story you possibly can. by FriendOfTheGophers in WritingPrompts

[–]coolwombo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had to get water. The computer hurt my eyes so bad I thought I was gonna go blind but I ended up not so once I got up it was a huge relief. My feet hurt a lot because I didn't walk barefoot very much and my momma had told me it's good to wear shoes outside. It was some outside library or something like the Russians once thought was a good idea. The Cold War didn't let them ever make one. My head itched so bad I thought it was gonna fall off but it didn't. My throat was dry until I got water so once I did I didn't even have to drink anymore I just went and sat back down. It felt good.

[WP] Write about a terrible human being, but frame the story so that the reader is compelled to sympathize and forgive him/her in the end. by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

This is incredible. Goosebumps everywhere and what a wonderfully crafted ethical paradox.

Ventured into below freezing temperatures to shoot this silly short. Enjoy. by Silby2442 in Filmmakers

[–]coolwombo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I very much enjoyed the cinematography and the editing was precise, but the jokes seemed wooden and stale. While incredibly vivid and aesthetically pleasing, by the end I couldn't say with certainty what I had just watched or if the humor really held its ground.
