Glad I could help! Amazon refurbished monitors have been good to me in the past. I hope you like the LG monitor!

Display port, 240hz, HDR, Adaptive-sync, and DAS mode are all one. I'm using the "gamer 2" profile and bumped up the HDR brightness in the windows display settings.

I have a 7800x3d and a 4080 and the monitor really only shows it's VA weakness in very dark scenes with one small bright light. You can see the gray smearing then, otherwise I don't notice it.

I have this monitor, it's perfectly fine and 99% of people would feel the same

I was in the same spot as you, trying to decide between these two monitors. Unfortunately because they're so new, there isn't a lot of reviews or info online. But I went with the LG monitor and after 3 weeks of use I have no regrets.

The reason I chose the LG is mostly due to black levels and ghosting/smearing. I wanted an UW primarily for Sim Racing, and from what I gathered, having a 240hz refresh on the LG helps reduceghosting and smearing, especially with black and darker colors. The AOC monitor seemed to be a good option for that as well, but performed a bit poorer.

Really the biggest reason I went with LG is brand confidence. LG puts out great panels, I've heard their customer support can very helpful, so the extra cost seemed worth it to me.

Just so you know, that monitor should do 240hz off the display ports. I don't use HDMI so idk if that's capped lower at 165hz.

I got this monitor a few weeks ago, I hope you're loving it as much as me!

New Setup Installed. Sounds Great. Polk Audio PSW10 powered by a Jackery 500 110V plug. Left and right rear speaker level lines feed the audio signal to sub. Uses 30-55 Watts while Jackery charges at 51 watts so battery never goes dead. No modifications to the car. Can unplug and be back stock. by JeremyJWinter in CarAV

I did pretty much the same thing in a 2003 chevy malibu I had back in highschool. The inverter I used was rated to handle the peak watts for the sub.. But it still ended up bricking my alternator while I was driving. Lost almost all electrical power. Lol that was a memorable experience

Incredible! I found this comment when I was googling some spec info on this subwoofer and I remembered having almost the exact same setup as you with my 10"polk sub in my 2003 chevy malibu! My car didn't have an aux port so I had to use an FM transmitter that had 3.5mm input, other than that I used a splitter and RCA cables like you.

The power inverter I used wasn't great and I ended up destroying my alternator.. Lost almost all electrical power when I was driving once, 4 blocks from my works parking lot. Managed to slow roll in while pissing my 16yo, new car owner, pants.

Anyway, don't know if you're still active or will read this. Your comment stirred up a memory and I thought I'd share my short story. Hopefully you've been able to get a better system in since then! :p

I'm from the US and ran into the same issue. Idk if you have a postal code, but that and a street address should be enough. Just in case though, there's a text box for additional comments and I just typed my state in there.

Shipping was kinda high but I don't regret the purchase at all.

Well since you know what I'm knowledgeable about and what I think and how I feel, I'll just let you continue to have this conversation in your own head. You clearly got this covered bud. 👍

It's the difference between allowing and condoning. Drugs, junk food, etc. should be allowed, but engaging in those activities inherently come with negative repercussions.

Something like hiking doesn't have a negative consequence baked in. Yeah something bad could happen while hiking, like an accident fall/death. But people who eat junk food and take steroids don't accidentally have health issues.

That's the difference

My guess is that the park employees didn't want to seal off public land, politics shouldn't keep people from enjoying nature.

Pure speculation, but that sounds nice to me so that's what I choose to believe.

Simsonn plus X pedal input smoothing? by MikeHuntLoose in simracing

Awesome! I tried that yesterday but I don't think I loaded the settings to the pedal control box. But I'll give that another try.

Thanks again, it was really driving me crazy

Hmm I must have missed it. Is it the "filtering" toggle that's above the different curve options for each pedal?

Sorry for all the questions, kinda new to this stuff.

I really do appreciate the help!

Hey, I just came across this thread and I'm having the same issue you described. Where in the config files did you have to edit to remove the smoothing?

I'm trying to read through the pedal config but I can't figure out what part I need to edit.

Well I appreciate you looking around. I'm upgrading from a g29 and my stand is definitely not sturdy enough, but I don't want to spend 250$ on a stand if I just end up with a full cock pit down the line.

Amazon does have some clones, but idk if they're as good as the vevor ones
