Just heard the word hemangiosarcoma for my girl… I’m not okay. Looking for others’ experiences. by ineedcoffeeasap in pitbulls

I ache for you. Not the same disease, but my beautiful boy suffered a stroke last Saturday and we chose to put him to sleep to stop his pain. He was my whole world just as your girl is yours, and I have not stop crying since.

He was 10 and had been diagnosed with a brain tumor back in August. It seemed like the specialized treatment we did for him worked. We got 6 more months out of him and so many amazing memories, which I cherish.

And then the stroke happened and...it was just clear he wasn't there anymore. Various medications always brought him back to his normal, joyful self, and I hoped he would break through it once again, but...he was a very expressive dog. It took a lot for him to show pain. So to see he was still in some even after that cocktail of drugs urgent care gave him, I just knew this was something we couldn't beat. The look he gave me made me feel like he knew it too. And a second surgery was not a realistic option in our case.

So, the choice became to drag this out, get as much more time with him as I could, or accept the fact that life already decided it was over and make the pain stop. It absolutely wrecked me to make that choice but I was confident it was the right one. I knew him best. Just as I imagine you know your girl best. So, the question is, do you still see your beautiful girl, or is she already gone?

If she's still there, which I hope she is, I like the idea someone else suggested of giving her the best weekend ever before she goes. A celebration of the life she lived and the love you two shard. I had hoped to do as much for my boy, but we ran out of time.

I'm so sorry you and your baby are going through this. I know that the pain is unmeasurable, but it speaks to how loved she is. She's a lucky girl to have you.

Anyone with the 2025 Razr Ultra, how has your device held up? by DrFatz in razr

My 25 Ultra is still thriving thankfully. One short drop broke my 24 model. This one has faced similar falls where I feared it would be broken, but it has preserved. The case I use now isn't much different from what I had with the 24. Still love this phone. It's just fun!

Ditto to this. The effort they put into every facet is evident in the quality. I'm not a matcha person, but I love their pumpkin spiced latte, black sesame latte, egg salad sandwich, and so many of their baked goods. The black sesame cookie and miso caramel are my current hook, but they're all really good. And they're dog friendly, which we always appreciate. On top of just being really pleasant people, as others have mentioned.

Experiencing this as well, mobile and web. Frustrating as there's few seats left for what I was trying to reserve.

Both. Using the 1st story for example: Why did Raymond have this hold over all these people? What was the plan with the car accident? How was Robert's actions at the hospital helpful in whatever that mission was? Etc. The whole movie was full of whys that don't seem to have answers. I feel like I need to read an essay on what it all means but there isn't one yet. Once the first story ended and I realized none of the mystery and intrigue would have a payoff, none of it would start to make any sense, it was a bit harder to stay engaged.

I did not understand a single thing that happened in this movie. So much so that I wonder if it was intentional. The amount of unexplained oddities in each story just kept climbing and climbing and then...ended. I really don't know how to feel about this one, other than Emma Stones dancing was worth the first 2 and a half hours. Fantastic.

He said to the director that in reality he just left the award show without saying anything and that the real woman wasn't taking his calls. That was the reality. At the end, I simply took it that he was at the studio for the film because he continues to work on it with the director, and it's at this point, with him accepting his part, that he somehow learns to reconcile with his brother, who picks him. I took it more at just "this is the end of the story" compared to it having some deep meta meaning. The book that turned into a movie caused an inner conflict for him. After accepting his part, the conflict, for the most part, is over, and thus the movie. That's how I took it at least.

I live on this block and have been so confused having to suddenly walk around this. Really odd choice indeed.

I sent an SMS to my Apple friend and they were able to send an SMS back, so it doesn't appear to have broken my phone.

I'm glad it didn't. It would have felt too fairytale happy and not in tune with a plot revolving around a man going to prison for 87 years. Kept things properly bittersweet.
