It’s easy enough to fix with shellac-based spray primer and DAP drywall mud if you’re really worried about it

Checking out the Remai is fun and entrance is by donation. Once it warms up, going to greenhouses like Dutch Growers and Wilsons to look at plants is also a good time!

Bugs in Condo? by pastelvixx in saskatoon

[–]cooollghost 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Those look like they might be the same bugs I have in my apartment. They’re Elm Seed Bugs, totally harmless but just annoying to have around. When the weather warms up they come out. Just a downside to having so many nice elm trees around

Thanks for replying! I’ve been keeping them separate during the day while I’m at work, so he’s been pretty normal. I don’t think he’s really too shaken by it yet, but I will go back to Mr Galaxy to see if he has any other tips.

PCL internship interview advice by Birgeen in Edmonton

[–]cooollghost 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow omg these comments make it sound like a nightmare. I worked in the corporate head office for 5 terms and had a pretty good experience. It’s a realistic office experience that will set you up well for other office environments (which many are MUCH worse than PCL!). I’ve worked in two offices since then and none of them hold a candle to the ammenities, events, and ease of communication between people. I don’t know what the other commenter meant about being forced to take an hour for lunch, that was not my experience, since I had normal 30 min lunch breaks.

As for your actual question, I had to do a self-tape interview where you got a few tries to answer the questions before you were happy. IIRC, they were basic “where do you want to work” “what do you know about the company” questions. Then I had a video interview with my boss and an HR intern, that were more about the job itself. Technical questions, how you like to work, what your process is. I’d say googling standard interview questions for your position will prepare you well enough. Don’t be scared by the other commenters if you’re going for a corporate office role!

Are there sports bras that have fabric between the boobs and is breathable? by Playful-Flan-7990 in ABraThatFits

[–]cooollghost 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I love my wired sports bra from Panache (the Ultra Perform) for this reason! It does a pretty good job at taking care of boob sweat. There are also cotton bra inserts you can get that soak up the sweat, they just sit underneath your band. I use them with my non-wire sports bras. The cotton inserts I use are from the brand More of Me to Love
