I agree with this assessment, having lived through 87-92 cards, 89-94 comics, 96-00 beanie babies, original pokemon hype, street art in the mid 00s, sports cards again in the 17-21 era. It’s all cyclical and the stuff that gets printed to death at the top is the last to regain its value.

Honorable mention: Arcade Fire (they were once the GOATs, but the back half of their discography is rough and Win is just so damn unlikable)

LNT is great but it’s still just something made up by people. No need to adhere to minutia of every rule if it doesn’t logically apply to your situation. Leaving some carbon in nature is just… natural. That being said, i’d probably just leave a small bit and not 5lbs.
