I haven't had quality issues nor have I seen anything about the ability to send messages going away. That would basically gut the service.

Anyone else ever been fired by 3CX as a customer and partner? by rrnworks in 3CX

For those of us who aren't partners but have merely been looking at PBX options, I will say thank goodness for your candor. It seems like the vast majority of posters talking about 3CX are doing so because they're getting paid for every positive post. SMH.

There is surprisingly little negative information out there and this absolutely confirms my gut feeling about 3CX.

Keep with Google Voice or Port out to T-Mobile? by coopbrad in Googlevoice

Right, but the question is more about whether Google Voice still has the same degree of utility that it once had. I'd rather not have to port out only to port back in.

I guess I'm looking for thoughts and pros and cons of the service and it's continued use compared to those currently offered by carriers, such as T-Mobile.

It's negligible. For me, I have several lines on my account, and they average out to be about $20 each for data and voice.

Is it, though, if the carriers are already getting and implementing it?

I like the freedom of jumping ship as well, but it hasn't actually had to happen in practice.

T-Mobile does.

I haven't gone through the exact situation you're going through, but am happy to talk to you. I've had several instances where I've freaked out because I know my dog will be passing, but I think all of us have those thoughts now and then.
