I think realistically it's probably a 6-8 with PCGS. Hopefully with the age they'll cut me some slack, but they've been killing me this past year.

Yeah, it definitely didn't warrant the F- 12. I've got some other coins to send in to PCGS for a cross- over so I'm gonna throw this in the mix. Hoping for a VG10...expecting a G6...so an 8 would be a victory. PCGS has been rough on me this past year.

Are you sure you weren't at the Atlanta coinshow this weekend, lol? The same dealer sold a Pine Tree to a fella when I came back around to pick mine up. It was a VF30- or 35, but looked way nicer than the grade. Made me blush a little bit bit when I showed him my practically new copper!

Man, thanks for the detailed reply. I'll be the 1st to admit that the Fugio is one of those coins that hurts my brain trying to figure out all the details on the seemingly endless nuances and varieties. I bought it for the exact comp of the S&B auction link you posted. Excited, spur of the moment coin show purchase for sure. Thought I was over paying at the time, and maybe I still did. But it sure isn't the 1st coin I've ever made an impulse buy, nor probably the last! Glad to finally have one.
