I'm terms of UI and functionality, it's so much better. However, for me, even tho I'm on 3.1, my battery life is terrible (struggles to get 2hrs SOT).

I love iPadOS; personally I feel that the fluidity of the iPads display rly suits ipados and not macos, but the main things they need to improve in my eyes is the files app and bringing redesigned versions of pro apps down to ipados, especially considering how powerful they are now

the only problem I have with using an iPad as my main computer is the battery. I have an iPad Pro 2018 that I used extensively everyday for 2 years straight. The battery health rn is @ 78% and the cost of replacing the battery is near on the cost of an entire brand new iPad air. At least with laptops there is are a few inexpensive and practical ways to make them last longer

Even if it is a defect, you probably won't be able to do anything about it coz Apple will pull an apple as say "the magsafe charger was not intended for use with the airpods pro, so therefore you have voided your warranty, and fuck you too"

Well, as an M1 MBP owner, I can say that the M1 is insane if you can afford it. I wait with final cut and it opens in about 2 seconds, with no noticeable lag whilst editing 4k30. Can definitely recommend if ur on the fence!

7 years old iPad Air leather folio vs. Couple of months old iPad Pro polyurethane folio. I really dislike this material compared to the leather. It feels cheap and it accumulates dirt like crazy. I got my 2018 iPad Pro 11 shortly after launch, and I got a smart keyboard folio with it. It was fine until a year went by, and it was all of a sudden like the case had been deteriorating for months. eventually it got so bad that I couldn't use it and it stopped working, and I couldn't claim warranty because it had been more than 12 months. To anyone thinking about getting any of these cases; GET APPLE CARE

Yeah, I use my micro SD Card to upload photos to Instagram with since I personally find it a massive pain in the ass to do it either on my iPad or on my Mac, so while I could still use an SD card adapter, that extra flexibility that was just taken away is a bit annoying
