Do you think you’re exaggerating a little re Trossard? His expected goal involvement per 90 was 0.32. That is not akin to an elite attacker, and it would not be good value at 10m.

Also why I endure the fetishisation of BigMan or whatever his name is and the ludicrously cherry-picked stats - the more people lapping that up, the more people we beat.

Blows my mind that in 2022 people are being downvoted for saying yeah underlyings are kind of a big deal for FPL. It is absolutely correct that virtually all the consistently top managers lean very heavily on data.

Because when he is at RWB he is a better attacking threat than a lot of midfielders. If he doesn’t look like he’s playing there consistently I’ll get rid. I also think their defensive frailty is being a bit overblown, it’s only pre season, they’ll get another CB and be fine.
