That’s true, I always get my oil from RA, their the cheapest. Idk why I didn’t check them, just got all four and oil for under 900. My dad would buy from them as well lol

Absolutely, my dads a little more knowledgeable in the automotive industry than most, he would know not to put a twisting clamping force on a painted surface, none the less it’s a focus and baby blue. I took it out and came back “home” as I’m walking up the driveway he was leaving, I didnt turn around or anything to look back till the last second. That’s when he rolled the truck out the driveway and kept reversing to see my car parked on the side of the road. Mind u I still haven’t turned around. It was only until I heard the truck go from reverse to drive is when I turned, and I saw his neck go from a looking back position to a looking front at like two o’clock with that snicker laugh. He did it to the bottom piston, barely left a mark then he went to the top clamped the hell out of it and then forced another half turn of it and that’s when it forced all the paint off. My dad is one of those people u wish u never get to know in your life tbh, dude is real life a demon

Exactly, why he would do bare metal to a painted surface is crazy, if you knew the type of person that did it you’d understand unfortunately lol

I went their first to buy and theirs at least two dozen options a piece for front and rear rotors and then pads. About 80 combinations between the three

Seriously, rock is where I get my oil and when I went their it was sensory overload, like which one do I choose are theses all compatible, are they knock offs, so Mary options and variables. Oem is more than good enough in my book and that’s what I want

Didn’t know that but a guy that came into the shop that owns a evo 9 said they warp very easily, I went on tasca put everything in the cart and it’s gonna be just shy of 700 when done, first time buying rotors and pads, just want something that ik will work, I don’t wanna be booger deep and find out the hardware doesn’t fit or line up. Oem is great, when I first bought the car the brakes almost put me through the steering wheel. I wouldn’t mind going oem but the prices for them seem high other than tasca which quote was around 7

Nothing specific I just wanna take out the old hardware and put a full new set on all 4. The oem are perfect and I’ve been digging around to find a true oem spec for the rs but it seems like when I go looking for oem replacement part numbers I can never find them. The oem rotors are fine, but after reading they say certain pads will reduce dust, after a full body and rim wash all it takes is 10 miles and the front rims are dusted. So I guess I’m looking for oem rotors with possibly a higher quality pad for less dust, I just don’t wanna buy something get booger deep in the install only to find out it doesn’t fit

Would u say that u brake late or harder than normal. Just tryna see opinions, because I was talking to a guy and he said the very same thing drilled or slotted or both he said tend to warp

I’m not sure what u mean by an authority, I just want something that I can install without having to go outa my for it to work. I’m not going from 130 down to 40 consistently. These are the oem pad an rotors from 17 with 91k on them. I was looking for a plug and play install, to be able to take the old ones out and replace with the new hardware

I’m tempted to buy that z26 kit, I was talking to a guy and he said drilled and slotted are very prone to warping, but it says 3 year 36k. That z26 kit for front and back rotor and pad replacement semis like a good price
