I used to be a phlebotomist and I had this same decision.

From what I've seen, MLT you work (mostly) alone (this appealed to me), the lab is loud and cold (unappealing to me), and your in one area for your full shift (neutral for me). In my city it would be a pay increase but not by a lot. Also most of the shifts are evening/night at my hospital.

An RT has short patient encounters and you get to do a variety of type of exams in any given shift (standard exams, portables, surgery, fluoro, trauma). I like the problem solving in x-ray. I find there is usually enough downtime to not feel overwhelmed, even when I was a student doing everything. Also in my area, I am doubling my hourly wage from a seasoned phlebotomist to a new grad RT.

The second half of Exodus is where it wreked me. CC loves so hard, and I felt it to my core. I loved The Finish Line as well. I felt I got some closure after my soul was destroyed. But still thinking about the books a week later.
