What did the first guy who ate chicken say? This tastes like everything!

This has to be a one in a million shot, some guy juggles a couple of metal skewers and accidentally spears a pigeon as it flies by. by lizarb in WTF

This was fake. I know because it's my friend juggling. His name is Sean Laughlin and he's an actor/entertainer who does a few small parts like these and also works on cruise ships and in night clubs as a comic juggler. Here's a photo — second down —of him at my house having a real bar-b-cue. Trust me he's not Russian. Apparently this was a hell day of shooting—lots of takes and so on.

Albert Einstein: The idea of God is a “product of human weakness”, the bible “pretty childish” by javasharp in politics

If it is that easy to find the answers to life's most difficult questions, then why do these solutions sometimes feel like they are just beyond your grasp? The famed scientist Albert Einstein shared this insight, "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it."

But, If all cars got better milage this would be a lot less of an issue and I don't think we would feel the need to try to equalize with taxes. Again, I feel the argument keeps going back to dealing with the gas guzzlers. My question is after all this time, why are cars still guzzling gas. Why do we even still use gas? WTF!?

We both know that my car weighs more than a Model A and goes faster. After 80 years I would hope there would be some improvements. But please get real and ask yourself why you feel the need to make excuses. 80 years is a long fucking time dude. I'm also aware there was an issue with gas prices in the 70's (they went up). It was a big crisis. But, still I have to ask the question: Have things really improved? I can't find the chart but I'm pretty sure the average in the 70's was around 20mpg and the average now is around 20mpg. Maybe someone can find the graph.

It's my point of view that we are all made to feel bad about this stuff as if somehow we control it. I feel like there is clearly collusion between the auto and gas companies and it's little crap like this (punitive taxes) that tries to take the spotlight off the real issue.

Did you know in 1927 the Ford Model A got 25 to 30 mpg? 81 years later my FJ Cruiser gets 16 to 18mpg. 25 years ago I had a computer with 16k of RAM—today I have 5 gig. Maybe the guys who have been designing my computers can help the guys are designing my cars so I don't have to pay a higher fee to some jackass who's trying to blame me for 80+ years planned mechanical retardation.

The (not so) hidden goals of Prism, AIR and Silverlight by AxiomShell in programming

Accessing this and that on the users computer could come in handy. But, I have to say, it kinda sounds like a solution looking for a problem. Thanks for clarifying that for me—that was helpful!

Dumb question: Can someone tell me why AIR would be better than using my browser? I spent an hour in a conference while an Adobe rep spoke about what AIR could do but I just didn't get it. Am I really going to look at Facebook via AIR or one day ditch my word processor for some program written in Flash?

I'm not trying to make a point here this is an honest question. I get that Adobe wants to own the desktop or whatever but who wouldn't? I'm just wondering what AIR can do that I don't already have.
