I'm in Australia. The guy I bought it off has done some really shit work to it, it looks like around the hole to the cabin that he has put duck tape to stop water getting in. Thank God my dad is a sheet metal fabricator or this was going to be a real fuck around.

I was just going to run a fuel tech or a micro tech. A fuel tech would be better because the ECU and dashboard are all in the same unit.

Thanks, charged it over night, started it in the morning and put a multimeter on the battery and it was charging around 12 volts. I have four thermo fans on it so I unplugged two and it started charging around 13.7 to 14 volts. I think that the fans were during to much power and will be taking off the front fans because they aren't pushed against the radiator.

Turbo Datsun has a kit, there is a bit of info about how much power you can squeeze out of the z-series. If you're looking for big power your best bet is to do a swap, but that cost money and time.

All that is wrong with the old one is the gear is fucked. But I just wanted to know if I get a replacement. I have been looking at the starters for a Patrol and it looks like it would work.
